The sound of the rain echoed through the whole antique shop. The dim lights illuminating the place and the different antiques reflect the light making the place more sophisticated than usual. The smell of coffee lingers. A perfect combination for rain days.   If you’re a customer going inside the shop you might get the impression that you’re in the Victorian era for the whole shop shouts for sophistication and elegance. The bell that was hanging in the shop’s main entrance door rings. A sign that someone from outside coming in.   The owner of the shop who’s busy brewing coffee in the counter looked at the door to see who just came in. The owner smiles as he eyes a woman who’s skin was as pale as the white sheets of paper, wearing a red lipstick and a vintage black dress holding a black umbrella came inside.   The woman greeted him with a smile as their eyes met. “It’s been a while. I guess.” the woman said. The owner of the shop nods and focus his attention in the coffee he’s brewing. “It’s been years since we saw each other.” the owner of the shop said.   The woman scans the place to look for a place to sit. The Shop was filled with different clocks, paintings, tea sets and other antique things that any person would think off. “I see that you made some changes in your shop.” She said as she take a sit that is closer to the door.   The owner chuckles. “You’re really brilliant when it comes to these kind of things. Epescially since the last time we saw each other was more than a hundred year ago.” He said as he transfer the coffee he brew on a tea cup. “Would you like some coffee?” he asked.   “Of course!” she replied. “You knew I love coffee since the first time we’ve been selected as partners.”   He nods once again. His blue eyes travel from the tea cup to the woman sitting. “I made some renovations since young people these days loves coffee and some sweets.” The woman smiles as she heard what the owner said.   “You’re pretty much learning from all the experience you’ve gathered. I remember the time I told you it would be a perfect place for coffee but you reject my idea with all your might and just focus on your idea gathering some of your collections.”   “I was young back then.” He said and walk towards the woman placing the cup of tea with coffee in front of her and taking as sit on the chair beside her. “ And, I came to love the smell of coffee especially when it’s rain like this.”   The woman look outside through the glass wall of the shop. “I had a hard time coming here. But the rain is nice. It hasn’t rain for like years.”   “You’re exaggerating things again.” He said. “By the way. What’s the purpose of you coming here? Don’t tell me you miss me?”   “Sorry to burst your bubble because even tho I’m really missing you, I didn’t came here for that reason.”   The owner of the shop smiles widely as he realized the reason why his partner is here after a few years of not seeing each other. “so they already decided, huh?” The woman blink emphasizing her long lushes as she smirked. “Yeah, I guess.”   “What the name?”   “Dawn.” The name came out perfectly in her lips. “Dawn Adler.”
