Awakening of Valkyrie

In the lofty reaches of the heavens, among the gods and goddesses who dwelt in the realms of Valhalla, war raged. Loki, the trickster god, had risen against Odin, the all father, and their battle spread chaos and destruction throughout the celestial realms. The army of Odin stood against the forces of Loki, and the battlefield was a frenzy of divine firepower and magical might. Loki's cunning spells and shadowy magic were matched only by the bravery and skill of Odin and his followers. At his side fought the Einherjar, the mighty warriors of Valhalla, and the Valkyries, the fierce warrior-maidens who guided the souls of the slain to the afterlife. Among the valiant Valkyries was Lenneth, a valkyrie of unmatched skill and bravery. Like her sisters, Silmeria and Hrist, she was a loyal follower of Odin and fought fearlessly by his side. However, even the mightiest warriors could only do so much against Loki's treacherous magics. As the battle raged on, Silmeria and Hrist were suddenly struck down by spells, becoming lifeless as they transformed into statues. Lenneth, despite her best efforts could not avoid the same fate. in a moment of recklessness, she was struck by the magic of Loki, and she fell from valhalla, plummeting down to the world below. As she fell, she could only watch as her sisters were frozen behind her, trapped in eternal slumber failing into the realm below. There, she lay dormant, frozen in her statue form, waiting for the day when someone would once again give her purpose and bring her back to life. Meanwhile, in the world below, the mortals live their lives ignorant of the divine battles that raged above. it was here, amidst the mundane toil and struggle of mortal life, that the seeds of a new purpose were planted, waiting to burst into life and set the pieces of destiny into motion once more.
