Who's LEO ?

Today I Silvia and a few of the guys went to Arrifana at dawn, we got to see the

sunrise on the cliffs and it was magical like always.

I went on the car in front with Daniel, Miguel and Silvia in the back, we spoke all

the way to Arrifana, there's something about him that I can't put my finger on,

some kind of sadness, sometimes is like he is lost somehow, there's

something there I'm not sure what it is.

When I asked why did he stayed away from here for 7 years when he seems to be so

fun of the place, he looked me and said:

" Because sometimes you don't know what you are asking for, untill the devil gives it to you".

There was this darkness in him that was almost tangible.

I'm really curious about this guy, he isn't just a hot guy there's something else there.

Then my day that was already good just got better, we were finishing lunch at D. Amelia's

Place when I heard a familiar sound, it couldn't be or could it? I took a look at Paulo and he was smiling at me, and in less then 5 minutes Leo was standing there in the door way,in a second I was back to the safest place in all world, my brothers arms. I stayed there for a while arms and legs wrapped around him feeling him holding me whispering how much we missed each other this past months.

When we final went back to the table and Leo start to talk to everyone I took a look at Daniel and he was looking straight back at me with the most painful look on his eyes. " What the hell is that" I thought to myself.

I sat back next to him and Leo got a chair and sat between me and Paulo while holding me by my shoulders, after a while Leo told me we should go because we were supposed to go to grannies house before he takes me home, I stood up but before I leave I whispered in Daniel's ear that I would love to see him later at the bar, he gave me a confused look but said nothing.

I took the helmet Leo was giving me and we left.

"K I have some intel for you baby girl!"-Silvia told me on the phone.

"What?"

"I think Daniel is in to you and Miguel is messing him around!!"

"Where do you got that from?"

"Let's just say that on our way back I was tired and a bit sleepy in the back,and I heard when Daniel was trying to figure out who Leo was, and let's just say that Miguel didn't told him he was your brother but he told him that you guys are really close and he is very important to you"- she explained.

" He didn't do that??" I was really pissed.

" Well at least he didn't told him that you guys are dating"- she giggled

" You are kidding, right?? I'm going to kill that boyfriend of yours!!"

" Ok, let's be racional here, we don't know a lot about this Daniel guy, we don't

even know why the hell did he move here, so take it easy, Miguel is only trying to

protect you".

" I know Silvia, I'm not stupid".

" Besides he is way older then you, he is 24 you know?"

" So?? I'll be 24 one day to!!"

" You know what I mean".

" Baby steps Silvia, I don't even know what I really feel for the guy, and probably

he only sees me as a kid, maybe he was just amazed, what was a guy Leo's age doing with a kid, that's all".

" Don't think so, I think he wanted to be in Leo's shoes back there when you jump in his lap" she laughed

" Have to get ready see you at work"

"K by the way you are going to the Marina for the first 3 hours of your

shift and then to us, Anabela went to Lisbon and will be late so you

will have to cover for her, is that ok?"

" Ok no problem" and hung up, just then I remembered I told Daniel

I would be at the bar and would like to see him, but it's ok maybe he would come only after 11pm like most people and I would

be back there by then.

Daniel

I arrived at the bar at 10:30pm and sat with some people I know from the afternoons on the beach, I looked around saw Silvia, Pedro but Kayla was nowhere. When a girl came around to take our order I asked her and she told me that she didn't know but she must be late or something, I asked for a Logan. I don't have to be very smart to figure out were and with who she is, how the hell I'm I been so affected by this girl that I meet a couple of days ago.

When the girl arrived with the whisky I drank it in one go and asked for another. I feel myself losing all control I don't wanna feel this pressure in my chest and I know the Logan will help me with that for now, when I'm about to drink the 3rd dose I feel a hand in my shoulder and look to see Silvia looking down at me.

" You aren't going to find what you are looking for in the bottom of that glass"

"What??"

" She had to go to the Bar in the Marina for the first 3 hours of her shift, she must

be arriving any minute now" she said in my ear.

" Thanks!" I said smiling at her, while feeling my whole body relax.

" By the way, Miguel sometimes is an as***, Leo is her big brother".

When she said that I couldn't help but hold her and kiss her cheek.

" Ok, Ok lover boy I have to get back to work now, see you in a while, and by the way

if you wanna have any kind of chance with my girl stay away from that s**t" she

told me pointing to my whisky.

She was right, 20 minutes later K entered the bar arm in arm with Paulo and Leo.

She looks tiny in the middle of them, both have more than 6.10fts. She doesn't

look nothing like Leo he has dark hair, grey eyes, nothing like her, she is no

more than 5.4ft.

She came straight up to me smiling introduce me to her brother as the

boy's cousin the new addition to the gang. Leo actually remembered me from when I used to come in holidays he use to also come and stayed at his grandmother house as he didn't live in Portugal back then but I think he was more friend's with my cousin Dinis back then that is a bit older then Paulo and I.

We stayed a little while talking we chose to use English because as I ended up

discovering Portuguese it is also not his first language, they are brother and sister

on the part of the father, Kayla as a Scottish mum just like I do , which is

nonetheless curious, and Leo is the son of a French mother, and he was raised in France

with his mum after the divorce when he was 6 years old, that's the reason for the strange accent.

He works abroad in the boat cruises that's way he stays away for long periods of time.

Paulo, Miguel and some of the other guys work in the local disco so they start

only after 12:00, it's funny how thinks are different on this side of the pond, when I arrived on the USA I was 17 I was not allowed to drink alcohol, not that it was not available to me, or go to a bar or disco but I could drive a car and play in a disco no problem at all, over here you can drink alcohol and go to discos and bars when you turn 16 but you aren't allowed to drive until you are 18.

When the rest of the boys have to go to work, I offer to pick up the girls

at the end of the shift and take them home so that Leo can go home and not

have to wait, when he is around he stays at their grandmother's house 10km away

from here. So around 12 I head home to return around 3 am when they leave, however I think I’m going to take my guitar out of my luggage and see if anything

comes out of this.
