Big plans for today I asked Meg If I could have K for me tonight, and she told me I can have K anytime she wanted to have me, really Meg??

Today K will be 16 and is new year she turns 16th at 00:10 and I want it to be

Memorable.

K

Today is my 16th birthday it's a big date for me I can officially date Daniel from

today on,

We don't have to hide if we don't want to.

I know he Is planning something, my mum is all smiles since she spoke with him

on the phone this morning.

This past few days had been a bit crazy for me I'm working from 9 to 5, Ze gave this

shift because he knows there's lots of dead hours in which I can study, then Daniel

picks me up near the bar and I go to his house and stay with him, while I'm studying he's playing with his Maria it's relaxing and helps me concentrate, then he makes dinner or orders something we have dinner and he drives me back, he shows at the bar 15 to 20 minutes later to have a Irish coffee " after dinner" he says and stays for awhile with some regulares that play volleyball in the beach with him and the guys, but he must have some kind of magnetic that attracts slut because there's always a few around,when it start to get to much he normally cames to the bar says bye to me and Silvia and goes away, there was this one time that one girl want him to give her a ride back to Quarteira so he told her that he was going to Albufeira and she just answered she didn't mind. Silvia got near the girl and told her that he was her sister's boy friend and if she wanted a ride she would be really pleased to call her sister and ask her to arrange that for her.

Today was the craziest day at work.

Tried to speak with Silvia during my morning shift but she kept refusing my calls

and sending texts that she would call me latter on, where the hell is she.

I'm working but the bar is closed during the day we are getting everything

ready for the celebration of new years we have outside people installing more

lights and there's the nets with the balloons that will be on the ceiling and will

drop the balloons at midnight. There's lot's of stuff to be done and now Ze is no where to be fund Silvia was supposed to be here with the balloons by now. At least the guys from the band had arrived and are arranging the sound stuff.

And then I saw Silvia arriving with Daniel and just on the car behind them Ze.

OK I'm saved.

As Ze arrived near me he looked around gives me a huge pull me up and says" Well done kid, did you check all the fridges, double checked the orders for the snacks?"

"Yes is all done" Just the decorations are behind and the guys from the beer will

be here in about 1 hour to chance the empty ones"

I answered felling claustrophobic from his hold

“ Ok kid you deserve a break, hey Daniel can't you take K somewhere to chill

out for 2 hours or so, she really deserves it" He blinked at Daniel

"Well if you insist I can do you that enormous favour!!" Daniel said grabbing my hand

"Are you all crazy?? " I said really confused and stopped

Daniel put me over his shoulder and carried me in to the Jeep while Silvia stood

there just laughing with Pedro that just arrived, wait, Pedro isn't supposed to be here

What the hell is going on here?

“Where do you wanna go for lunch babe?" Daniel asked in a very good mood

"You know what if I can get to lunch out I would like to ask my mum to join us if

She can. Let me call her?" I called the hotel my mum works and ask for her:

" Mum

Ze gave me 2 hour break to have lunch out with Daniel and I though maybe you would like to came with us, we could have lunch somewhere near the Hotel?" I asked mum

Looking at De to see if he was upset, but he looked quite ok with it.

My mum said she would meet with us in a restaurant in front of the hotel in 15

minutes and she was ordering already because she only had 30 minutes of lunch

time, my mum works as shift leader on a concierge desk in a five star hotel in

Vilamoura, crazy schedules it wasn't easy when I was a kid that's why I ended

up spending so much time with the guys, their mum doesn't work outside the house and she only had boys so I was a nice addition.

We arrived before mum, but when she arrived her food was ready for her.

While she was there with us she kept going for De. First she said "Halo mo something that I didn’t understood gràdhach"

( Hello my dear......)

Then she start to talk to us that we should go to Scotland next Easter that she

could make the documents so I would be allowed to travel with De and that it

was a shame that he didn’t really knew is roots, he was agreeing with her, and

then they star to speak about how both our mum know each other and didn’t know

that both came from Scotland and from the Highlands, those 2 have been talking

to each other behind my back.

My mum finished lunch kissed me goodbye, went near Daniel gave him a kiss on

the cheek and said "Gur math a thèid leat" And looked at me with a happy face

and said happy birthday honey I'll call you latter, love you!! You may translate I

don't think he got this one!!"

"De, what the hell was that?? I ask in total confusion

" I don't know what she said how do you what me to tell you what that was??" he shrugged

" She wished you good luck!!" I said expecting on explanation

" Oh, that was nice of her!!" he said happly

“Really De that’s your explanation??"- I said rolling my eyes.

“Well the mum is yours, can you explanation half of the things she says?"- he

asks me with a innocent voice

"You have a point on there! But anyways, are you hiding something from me?"

I looked deep in those beautiful blue eyes.

"He looks back at me, and says" Yes I'm, but please just don't ask me what it is remember what you made me promise. We can keep secrets but we can never

Lie to each other, and if you ask me directly I'll have to tell you, please love."

his voice just a wisper.
