Author's Word
Each of us has our own story to tell. We only need the right platform in order to be understood and to be able to understand, that each story has its own backbone of history. Your journey while reading this book, will help you understand another perspective on someone's story, and on how the author tries to make you see and understand the wall that this someone has established for years. Walls she built in order to protect what has been left from all the struggles faced.
She was a victim of discrimination. She had struggled for validity, she aimed for acceptance and she longed for a companion. It was always a dark room for her. She was trapped in a hole and was...is...will...trying to create a loop hole she can use to escape.
She couldn't even hear her own voice calling her to save herself. The whispers of pain, anxiety and uncertainty are the only dominant voices she can hear and she listens to. She looked around like she was on her feet and saw a single light shining. It was her dream. That was her hope.
Her dream, like her golden rope, helps her to accept the cruelty of the world. With a bruised experience, she decided to hold on to that golden rope- her dream. Because she knows what is waiting for her in the end is the happiness she has longed for a very long time.
