Natalie turned when Luca led her outside to a waiting town car. The driver holding the door open for her.
“Luca, you don’t understand…Mikhail isn’t going to just lie down.”
“He will…he has no choice…now get in the car, like a good girl.”
“What did you do?” Natalie’s eyes blazed purple, causing Luca to halt and take note.
“I merely set a trap over him, a simple holding spell, it will release him as soon as we drive away.”
“You’re stepping over a line, Luca, there's a room full of humans there."
Luca looked up and down the street a moment, brushing his long luxuriant hair back with one hand, then looked back at Natalie. She looked so beautiful and dangerous and confidant at that moment…he sighed.
"We have things to discuss, sweetness…please get in the car, we cannot discuss it here.”
