Lord Luca Bianchi’s face was perfection personified, flawless and covered with the most self-satisfying egotistical smirk Mikhail had ever seen. Zagreus’s was bad, Mikhail thought, but he had nothing on Lord Luca Bianchi.
“What the hell is a vampire doing charity fundraising work for?” Natalie said straight off the bat as soon as they stepped in front of him.
Luca chuckled. “We need to keep the food source alive and healthy, do we not? What do you feed on?”
Natalie shrugged. “Vampires, mostly.”
Mikhail growled. “Natalie!” He really didn’t think it was a good idea to piss this vampire off, he exuded power and confidence in his situation, so Mikhail knew he had the upper hand for the moment.
