Everyone was sitting around a large trestle table that had been erected inside the tent as snow had started to fall softly as it got dark. Several braziers were aflame and keeping them warm as they all enjoyed their meals.
Daniel grinned. “This is like being back home.”
The others agreed with smiles and laughs.
“I really wish I had all my computers…” Jack grumbled. He was sitting off to the side still focused on his laptop. The drone had been recovered and he was trying to clean up the footage before everyone watched it.
“Eat.” Vince said to him, placing a plate down in front of him. Jack looked up with a smile, picked up a slice of meat and shoved it in his mouth then looked back at the screen.
“Can you do me a favour?” Jack said with his mouth full.
Vince regarded him solemnly.
