Around the next bend they found Natalie and Mikhail crouched down behind a massive pillar of rock as they peered out at the wondrous scene beyond. It looked like a magic forest growing underground. Large phosphorescent fungi of varying colors were growing everywhere and the air smelt and felt humid and sickly. They could see several demons scattered around, they all seemed oblivious to the fact they had invaded the place the loud music muffling the sound of Gareth’s explosion.
Some were lying around drinking and gambling, others were lazily pacing like they were on patrol. There was a large arch way to the left that seemed to lead to the inner sanctum and they could all clearly see there was a private party going on in there.
