The next morning Natalie and Mikhail were standing in the center of the arena with Gareth, the others were all standing close by.
Mikhail had hold of Natalie’s hand. Vince noticed there wasn’t many minutes in the day when Mikhail didn’t have hold of Natalie’s hand these days. Like a chain, Vince thought bitterly, was Mikhail really that insecure?
Vince had been told by Natalie to retrieve Londo from the beach house and get him safely behind the security of the ranch, even put him over at the other house if he had too. He had gone out late that night and had come back with a surly Londo, but at least he was there, as Natalie had requested. He wondered what would happen next. He really didn’t look forward to a confrontation between Londo and Mikhail.
“Are you ready?” Natalie asked Gareth.
