Chapter 5: Mate

I havent stepped foot inside her house. I cant and i dont want to. I dont want to get married. i dont want to be with someone who isnt my mate but i also dont want to find my mate.

I know im supposed to have a mate. everyone says the mate bond strengthens you and makes you more powerful. but to me it doesnt. i saw how my mother suffered when my father died. and i dont want to feel that way. i suppressed all my feelings. thats how i became the strongest alpha amongst all the other packs at just 21 years old.

I cant let emotions make me weak. i cant let a woman control my feelings.

As i say that i feel blaise tense.

I dont know but you need to go towards the patio. Someone is there i can feel a strong presence.

as i make my way to the patio i see the most beautiful, stunning, breath taking and sexy woman standing there. Shes wearing a tight black dress that curves every inch of her perfect body. Her long black hair shines in the light of the moon. Shes magical. Shes perfect.

Before she could turn around i hear my mothers voice. I turn to see her whole family there with Cici and mother.

i see you've met Sierra my mother says.

Sierra.... Shes sierra. My future wife. The woman who im supposed to marry next week. The most beautiful woman in this world is going to be my wife.

As i snap out of my thoughts i look up at Sierra. Her eyes sparkling like glitter in the night.

Before i could say anything i feel Blaise taking over. In the next minute He growls out

the urge he has for his mate is something else. iv suppressed my feelings making him hold back from looking or feeling anything for his mate but tonight i couldnt, not when the most beautiful woman was standing infront of us.

I growl with so much hunger and pain and anger all because i was so stupid. all because i didnt want to get hurt but.... but this feeling of love and so many emotions just makes me feel more adement to want to rule my kingdom with my Queen.

What have i done? i look at Sierra stunned but broken at the same time. Her wolf gave out a cry. A cry of relief from being alone. A cry of finally being wanted.

I made Sierra wait because i was a coward.

I see the stunned expression on our families faces.

Mate.... You are sierras mate her mother says with a crack in her voice. I see tears in her families eyes and in my families as well.

Her mother and sister run towards her and hug her. Sierra just stands there stunned with everything happening.
