I had to say, I was thoroughly impressed with Nathifa. It was as if she was made to be the Queen of Egypt.
And judging by the look on Atemu’s face, he was more than a little pleased.
I wasn’t too surprised when I saw Anat running towards me later that morning. What did surprise me though was the red in her cheeks.
She stopped running and gave me a huge smile. “Mission accomplished.” She said.
I raised an eyebrow.
“I sort of walked in on the Pharaoh and Nathifa...”
Now both my eyebrows were raised. “Were they...”
“No.” She said right away. “But they were kissing!”
I felt a grin form on my face. “Beautiful.”
“And is true about what people are saying? About how Nathifa punished Ausar and his father?”
I nodded.
The joy on Anat’s face was unbelievable.
