Hawk's POV
After the dancing and the random stupid that showed up. Amber and I went back to the room, where I devoured every inch of her showing her how much my heart cared for her. She screamed my name multiple times. I was settling down to sleep after checking one last time to see if there was someone coming. No one I could sense, out there. I curled up with Amber's sleeping form in my arms. She sighed and relaxed into me. It always amazed me, that no matter how many I had killed, or how many feared me this little woman who had lived in fear all her life, had no ounce of it for me.
I stuck my nose in the crook of her neck and inhaled deeply letting her scent wash over me. I was relaxing into her when I heard the voice that sent shivers down my spine.
