Amber POV Hawk and I went back to the routine we had, breakfast, training, lunch with me devouring as many history of the supernatural books Mato had in his library. All all us were at the dinning hall, "I would like to have everyone's attention." Mato had stood looking around the room. Everyone talking, stopped to look at him. I looked up as well. "We will be hosting a party for some local packs. They have asked for a gathering for their unmated members. I have called a few of my alliances for help with security of the event. Everyone is welcome to attend, shopping and set up will be arranged. If you, want to help with it please let me know. " Mato sat down. I looked down at my plate, does that mean Hawk and I should go? What if he is not my mate? I had so many questions. I looked at Mato and back to my plate a few times. Wondering if I should ask. "Amber?" I seen Mato look at me. "Yes?" "You and Hawk are invited to come. I know you have never experienced a party before, with this being so well cover in security I think this will be good for you." He reached out and patted my hand. "I was gonna have the girls go to town tomorrow and buy dresses. Do you want to go or would you rather stay and have them pick one out?" I was a bit surprised. "They can pick one out." I breathed. My chest got heavy at the very thought of leaving. Hawk noticed my uneasiness and placed his hand on mine. I gave him a weak smile then looked back at my plate. "Ok, I will let them know. Any favorite color?" Mato asked. "Teal or turquoise," I glanced up to smile. "Perfect I will, have them bring back a few for you to check out." Mato nodded and went back to his plate. "I will need a suit." Hawk mentioned between bites to Mato. "I will have them measure you." Mato nodded. "Perfect, I will send my card for her and mine's purchases." Hawk finished as he went back to his plate. Mato nodded, and everything got back to eating. Following morning things got super busy. people leaving others coming. I noticed several new buildings had been moved in. The back portion of the yard was in constant disarray. "Ma Cháñte, lets go practice." I looked up to see Hawk, in a white tank, with black sweats. No shoes, and his hair tied back in his long braid. I got off the porch swing, and followed him out of the yard into the woods. We walked in silence, as we got to the hidden spot near the stream. There we heard, moaning and the skin to skin contact I knew as s*x. I grabbed Hawk's hand as he was about to walk around the corner. He turned instantly looking back at me. I shook my head, placing my fingers to my lips and pulled him back into the forest. "That spot is being used," I whispered. I watched him glance up. Using his nose. it flared and he looked back at me with a surprised expression. "Oh," he understood. "There is another spot." He smiled suddenly. Leading me down the stream. It ran into a small pond. There was a clearing to the side of it and an old weeping willow that's branches tickled the ground. Hawk moved the thin branches aside to expose a completely hidden abode. The green leafy curtains covered the view while the tree was old enough to provide the needed space to practice. We practiced for a little while, I was learning how to block really well. "Let's head back to the house." Hawk said as he seen me huffing and puffing. We left the little hidden spot under the willow tree. Walking back to the house, we noticed as soon as we seen the backyard that more people had showed up. Walking to the bottom of the porch, we seen Mato come out with a few new guys. "Hawk, Amber your back," Mato said with a smile. "I want to introduce you to the Fab 4." Mato's hand waved back to the four huge men behind him. "This is Ben, Luke, Silas, and Dex. They will be running security for the event." He waved at each man. Three of them were blonde, two had blue eyes, one of the blondes had brown eyes and freckles. Silas was bright red hair, and tons of freckles all over his face with bright blue eyes. Size wise they were massive in build like Mato. "Hello," Hawk stepped slightly in front of me. "Nice to meet you." He nodded. I peeked around Hawk to say "Hi, great to meet you." "If you will excuse us, we came for some water." Hawk reached back grabbing my hand. As we walked past the guys he placed himself between them and I. Inside, Hawk placed me in the kitchen first and him behind as we got to the drink fridge. There were four in the side kitchen. All filled with snacks for people to get at anytime. "What do you want to do?" Hawk asked. glancing at me. "I think I will head up to the room and finish that other history book, I have." I shrugged. All my usual spots were flooded with people. "Ok," He took my hand, then walked into the hall. Leading me to the stairs we walked up, Going down the hall he got the door for me, as we both found our beds and flopped on them. "How are you doing?" He asked after a moment of silence pasted between us. "Nervous and trying not to panic." I sighed. "Your being very brave Ma Cháñte." I seen his brown eyes tilt up as he smiled and winked at me. I giggled, and rolled my face away to blush. I grabbed the book, propping myself up I got to reading. I was lost in the book, when I seen Hawk get up and walk to the door. Closing the book I watched, as he opened the door to several giggling girls who where carrying six bags and two big black bags. The young blonde, Cherie bounced in asking "Where do we place the suit?" Hawk walked over took it and went to the closet to hang it up. "Ma Cháñte, I will be down stairs," He gave me a wink and disappeared out the door. An explosion of giggles and blushing happened after he left. The brown haired girl with blue eyes, "We got you 6 dresses to choose from," she squealed. "We also got you several different shoes and some other bits to go with them". They plopped the bags on Hawk's bed and proceeded to open the dress bag in front of me. The short black haired girl, with brown eyes, looked back at the door to ask, "is he your mate?" "it seems to be possible." I shrugged. "He has given me no reason to be afraid of him." I smiled at her. "He won't come back in while we check dresses?" She glanced at me with a blush. "No," I smiled. "He knocks when Cherie and Anna are here with me. "Ok, first time I seen him was the day those guys tried to take you." The black haired girl spoke. "My name is Alana." She smiled. "Ah, you were the one they found not long ago." I smiled grabbing her hand. "I am proud of you to go out shopping." "I was not taken for very long like you." She looked down at the floor. "Doesn't matter, you were still taken. We share that in common." I gave her a quick hug.
