Dresses and Kisses

1116 Words
Amber's POV We tried on all the dresses. The girls decided the teal green dress that was backless, with thin straps would be perfect for me at the party in two days. They also mentioned that they would help me do my hair and make up. We got the dresses and the shoes put away. I followed them out to see, them giggle as they passed one of the Fab 4. He nodded to me and continued down the hall. At the top of the stairs, I looked aound when Hawk stepped into view at the hallway near the bottom. He must have been in Mato's office. "Ma Cháñte, are you ready for dinner?" He asked as he turned to walk up the stair way. "Yes," I smiled. I walked down, as he grabbed my hand leading me out to the dinning table they had placed in the back yard. Pulling my chair out I was seated next to Momma Dee who sat near Mato at the head of the table. Hawk sat on my other side. As we ate conversations went around the table, as people chatted with the Fab 4. Stories were talked about including the one about the recent group that had came to take me. "Who was it that fought those guys? We can us them for security the night of the event." Dex asked as he looked expectantly at Mato. "One guy fought them," Mato mentioned off handily. "He will be attending the party as a guard to Amber." Looked up at Dex with a serious look. "Will he be, at training tomorrow?" Dex raised a brow. "No" Mato smirked. "He does not train with us. Nor does he need to." I kept my eyes on my plate after that. When we were done, I leaned over just enough to ask Hawk, "Can we watch the stars a while?" He tilted his head a little bit, I felt his breath tickle my ear, when he answered "Of course Ma Cháñte." He got up, pulling my chair and taking my hand Hawk looked at Mato, "We will be star gazing if you need us." We walked hand in hand to the spot we normally sat back and watched the stars. when we were settled, down I had to question. "Why didn't Mato say it was you?" Hawk chuckled, "They would want to test my skills. I don't fight unless there is need. If I do, I end up killing." I could hear the sadness in his tone. "But you are training me." I mentioned. "Your different. I don't want to hurt you." He sighed as he rolled over to look at me. "I have never not followed my instincts. Killing is part of the beast within me. But with you I am different." I looked at his brown eyes, there was sadness and worry there. But I could see a sparkle of something I had never seen. "What are you?" I couldn't help the question that slipped out. He sat up, so I did too. I grabbed his hand, "It won't change what I think of you." "Have you read anything about the name Cacodemon?" He looked at me like he was trying to judge my emotions. "I have," I quickly nodded. "He is connected to Lilth, and he takes the souls that feed Lilth and his bond." I smiled. Proud that I had remembered. "I am him." Hawk's voice was low as he said this. "I wondered." I smiled squeezing his hand. "There was a passage detailing something similar to what you had done with the one guy the night you went to the woods and a similar one to what you did to that one biker." I scooted closer to him. "Your not afraid?" He raised a brow at me. "No," I looked up at him. "You have saved me several times now. If you had wanted to kill me it would have already happened." I leaned my head on his shoulder to prove my point. "You amaze me sometimes Ma Cháñte." He kissed the top of my head. We sat like that for a while. My yawning is was got us up to head back to the house. We said nothing, as we walked up the stairs, and down to the room. "Did you pick the dress?" Hawk asked as he closed the door. "I did," I smiled, going to my dresser, I grabbed my t-shirt and shorts I sleep in. Then to the bathroom I changed. I came out to see Hawk, had changed. He was in sweats that road low on his hips exposing his v lines. His hair was not in the braid but hanging loose around him. I couldn't help but stare. The whole package was frying my circuits. "Your staring," Hawk looked at me. He walked slowly toward me, as he took a step, I took a step back. I bumped in the bathroom door. As he placed both hands, on each side of me. Caged between his arms, he dipped his nose along the side of my neck and shoulder. My body was quivering with eagerness. I was not sure how things had changed but they had. "Hawk," I said with a gulp. "Yes," Hawk smiled as he went to the other side of my neck, I felt his breath fan across my skin leaving tingles and goosebumps in its wake. "What are you doing?" I all but panted. My body betraying me with its want. "I am giving you a closer look, " He said near my ear. A shiver of delight when down my spine and pooled in my stomach. "Oh," I swolled hard, as his breath danced across my skin. "Some part of me wants you to wear my t-shirt," He murmured against my ear. He used one hand to move my hair back as he dipped his nose along my neck to my collar bone. As he did so, his body leaned in enough that his hardened chest touched against my pert n*****s through the shirt. I sucked in a ragged breath, as I heard a low growl come from his chest. I tilted my head enough to see him close his eyes. "I want to taste you," He muttered as the rumble in his chest continued. "How?" I panted, still trying to rein in my own out of control body. "I have no idea," his rough voice spoke. Pushing his hands of the wall, turned and walked away. I leaned my head, back agaisnt the wall, closing my eyes I took some breaths to calm the wildfire that started in my body. I was still frozen in place.
