SKY I crouched behind the stone wall, heart pounding as I watched Noah, his figure just barely visible in the fading light. He was listening closely to the officers like he had something to hide. Ever since I’d noticed him acting strange during training, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something about him was off. He wasn’t just distracted; he was calculating, watching, and clearly up to something. And now here he was, leaning in close to one of the secure buildings, ears tuned into a conversation I couldn’t hear. “What are you doing, Noah?” I whispered to myself, peering around the edge of the wall.
