When Carolina, Shawn, and Ara returned to the laboratory, they looked different. The smiles that they went off with were all gone. Even the sadness in Caro’s eyes was dislodged by what she had seen at the hospital. My interns relayed a little bit of what they found out, and then they went straight to their tasks. Nobody seemed too happy to talk about it.
