Third Person/Griselda When Martha approached Griselda about Carolina’s fate, the dark witch was pleased. There was no love lost between Griselda and Erishkigal, the witch who hated Carolina’s family so much she cursed almost every family member. Carolina’s curse was more complicated, however. She was meant to go out of time. The hounds were simply a means to an end. Erishkigal realized that Carolina’s older brother Samuel’s curse, becoming a shifter, was not enough. He still had everybody’s love, support, and understanding. It was not a real win. Death was too easy, as well. When somebody disappeared, on the other hand, people were at a loss.
