Carolina Mrs. Arden and I hugged for so long it felt like the last time. I told her I was no longer comfortable staying in her home now that it looked like her son had dumped me. I did not want Daniel to feel like I was making his mother take sides. “You have my number, Carolina. If you need any help, just call me.
