Chapter 7: His Wife?

1229 Words
Alisha’s POV It was insane, everything felt like it was happening so fast and I still am unable to wrap my head around the fact that they all thought that I would be getting married to Sebastian. Megan, the woman who already hates me so much she’d be willing to do anything to get me out of her way, aside, this man is Enzo’s uncle! “But I haven’t even agreed to get married yet.” I let out in a mutter that was loud enough so they could hear me. Sebastian and old Lyon looked at each other but instead of a frown, Sebastian only smiled before turning to face me. “Don’t worry, grandpa,” he said with a really proud smile, “the preparation for the wedding will take place soon.” He added and my jaw dropped. How can they do this? How are they doing this? Is this just part of a scheme to ridicule me? I know Lyon, he’s not supposed to agree to something like this. Megan, without saying another word stormed out of the house in anger. My head pounded and my heart raced and even when my mouth opened, I was incapable of letting any word out. My vision had started getting so blurry that I had to close my eyes and open it once again to be sure that all of this was happening for real. “I’m sorry you had to experience all of this, sweet pea.” Sebastian said, brushing my hair to the side as he gently lifted my face. “W… what is going on?” I asked, stuttering as I spoke but he only smirked before leaning into me as if he wanted to kiss me. My breath hitched when he got so close to me that I could feel his breath on my face, “you’re becoming my wife is what is happening.” He said in an unintended whisper. I tried to move away from him but he pulled me so close that I crashed on his chest. The smell of his pheromone was starting to take its toll on me. My p***y throbbed and my body yearned for him, all of me wanted to be consumed by all of him and I had to shake my head to get the thoughts out of it but still, the thoughts lingered. His rough palm on my waist gave me a sense of protection and when I opened my eyes to gaze at him, he was looking down at me in ways that no one has ever looked at me. “I think I’ll have to leave both of you alone,” Lyon’s voice jolted me out of my thoughts and I cleared my throat as Sebastian helped me stand on my feet properly. “I need to see your brother,” Lyon continued and I could swear that I saw Sebastian’s muscles tense, “his son is taking over his pack and I need you both to set your rivalries aside.” He continued. “The Alpha and family of the Silver Heart Pack will attend this wedding as a honorable guest and that way we’re going to hold the wedding ceremony and the coming together ceremony of both packs.” Lyon finished before walking away, not giving Sebastian any chance to say anything. Silence prevailed in the sitting room for a while and the tension was so thick that I had to ease it by clearing my throat. “I have to leave.” I muttered as I started making my way up the stairs to the bedroom so that I’d be able to get my things but Sebastian pulled me back. I needed time to think about all of this. I still haven’t digested the betrayal of my ex-boyfriend and my sister and now I’m rushing into marriage with his uncle. What happened last night? How much alcohol did I have to drink and how much did I say? Questions ran through my mind as I only sighed before looking at Sebastian and telling him that I needed some time alone. “If you need some time alone, you can go to the bedroom and have it,” he said firmly. It was as though he was trying to tell me that I’m now trapped with him forever. “Am I your prisoner now?” I blurted out before I could take a minute to think about it and instead of getting offended, Sebastian only laughed. “You’re not my prisoner,” he answered coolly, “but I own you and I say you can’t leave the house now.” He finished. Cold chills ran down my spine at the affirmation or maybe I should just call it a confession. It wasn’t supposed to have any effect on me but it was having so much effect on me. “You need to rest,” he continued after a while of silence, “you look really tired.” He finished and like a puppet, I nodded affirmatively as I began to walk away. The sound of a familiar voice calling Sebastian’s name caused me to stop in my tracks and I swallowed down hard on the lump that formed at the back of my throat. Why is he here? He shouldn’t be here? “What’s up, Uncle!” Enzo greeted his uncle with a laugh and I stiffened. Sebastian took a look at me before walking to meet Enzo on the way. “I saw gramps on the way in and he told me that you are getting married.” He added, my eyes closed in frustration as I wished that the ground could just open its mouth and swallow me but my wish seemed far-fetched. “Grandpa has been waiting all his life for this,” Enzo continued, “it’s probably why he isn’t dead yet, he wants you to give him a great grandchild and I’m glad it’s going to be soon.” Enzo laughed. Sebastian didn’t even do little as crack a smile, I stayed in the spot I was as I watched Enzo and Sebastian. Enzo’s eyes traveled to my direction and I froze. Has he seen me? What is going to think of me? Will he think I’m not innocent but a f*****g slut? Questions ran through my mind and relief washed over me as Enzo’s eyes moved away from me. He didn’t really see me. “What do you want?” Sebastian asked, that was the most word he had said since Enzo walked in. “Oh c’mon uncle,” Enzo retorted, “is that her?” He asked as he walked past his uncle and towards me. Everything my head was telling me to do was to run far away but I was unable to do that because of how glued to the ground my feet were. “Welcome to the….. Alisha?!” Enzo yelled when he stopped in front of me, his shock and surprise evident in his eyes as he spoke. “What are you doing here?” He asked. I felt ashamed, my mouth opened but I pressed it back into a thin line. “She’s my wife.” Sebastian answered on my behalf and I could hear bells begin to ring in my head. This is going to be really bad.
