Manuel was surprised to see the girl smiling at the picture. The little girl must like his boss," did you like him?"

Loretta rose her head gleefully but before she could speak, Sally appeared, she had been imagining what conversation could be going between Loretta and whoever was at the door.

Loretta was surprised to see Manuel, he had seen him at the event center. What was he doing here?

"Mrs. Sally, nice meeting you again," Manuel said with a smile, trying to create a comfortable atmosphere but Sally was very uncomfortable, her eyes darted to the phone that her daughter was holding.

She squeezed her face when she saw that the picture of the man on the screen of his phone, it was the man who looked exactly like her daughter.

"Is this your phone, Mr. ?"Sally asked Manuel.

"You can call me Manuel. Yes, it's my phone," Manuel answered.

Sally collected the phone gently from

Sally and said," Don't just collect stuffs from strangers," Sally scolded Loretta and handed over the phone back to Manuel.

"Mr. Manuel , how can we help you?" she asked with a very cold look.

"Well, I got to know that you left the event center abruptly, perharps, because you and your step-sister had a misunderstanding. If you are still willing, I can arrange another meeting with her," Manuel said.

Was that why he came to see her? just to arrange another meeting with her step-sister? doesn't sound reasonable. The man must have an ulterior motive.

But then, she still need to meet with her sister to retrieve what really belongs to her mother. "Well, Mr Manuel, I appreciate your kind gesture but when next I'm willing to meet with my sister, I'll contact you."

Manuel quickly brought out his card, "you can always contact me,"

Sally collected it and nodded slowly.

"Bye," Manuel waved his hands at Loretta and walked away.

"Mom, why are you cold towards that man? he showed me the picture of daddy," Loretta said.

"Daddy!" Sally chuckled incredibly," don't mind that man," Sally walked in with Loretta and closed the door.

Manuel walked hurriedly out of the building, once he got inside his car, he placed a call across to Willard.

Willard answered his call and spoke," have you found the woman?"

"Yes, sir. She's at Red Hotel, she's even with that little girl that looks exactly like you," he said.

"I'll be there," Willard hung up, he suspended all he was doing and drove speedily to the hotel. Once he met with Manuel, he said sternly," take me there quick."

Manuel walked alongside his boss but when they arrived at room 305, they discovered that the door had been locked from outside implying that those inside the room has left.

Manuel thought that it might be a trick so he informed the hotel manager to open the door to the room. At once, the door was opened but Sally and her daughter were no longer there.

Willard was furious that he clenched his fist tightly, he turned to Manuel," what's the meaning of this? did you intentionally waste my time?"

Manuel turned to the hotel manager and asked so he could be his witness," didn't a woman and her daughter booked this room?"

"They do," the hotel manager answered.

"Boss, I really saw them but I did not know why the woman is always running away from you, she's always trying to avoid you," Manuel said.

Willard became even more desperate to meet with this lady who was always trying to avoid him. Was there something she's hiding? her daughter even looked like him.

Few minutes before, Sally had sensed that Manuel had an ulterior motive for coming to see her in her hotel room. Since he had confirmed him to be a personal assistant to her husband's step-sister, the man who looked like her daughter. She had this feeling that he may go ahead to invite the man over.

Sally didn't want any drama with that man, so she suddenly told Loretta they would be leaving the hotel, although Loretta argued that they were not supposed to leave yet, it was because Loretta was hoping that Manuel would go and bring his father to see her.

Sally persuaded the girl and took her out of the hotel. She went to an old friend's place, Velma.

Velma was so happy to see Sally that she welcomed her and her daughter gleefully.

"Sally, I had no idea you have given birth to a beautiful baby," Velma said , staring lovingly at Loretta.

"Yeah, not many people knew," Sally smiled. She was glad her friend welcomed her.

Velma stood and approached Loretta," Beauty, can I carry you?"

"My name is Loretta," Loretta answered, her looks were cold , she was not happy that her mother took her out of the hotel. She had just met with a man who showed her the picture of her dad, that man could bring her dad over to the hotel but seems her mom is not interested in meeting her dad.

"You've got a sweet name, can I carry you dear?" Velma asked.

Loretta shook her head in response, Velma felt rejected and moved back slowly.

"Loretta, why don't you let big aunty carry you?" Sally asked.

"Because I'm not happy," Loretta answered.

Velma exchanged a surprising look with Sally.

"Did you do something wrong to her, why is she not happy?" Velma asked Sally.

Sally adjusted closer to Loretta," what's the matter, Loretta. Trust mummy to always solve it."

"I've found my dad. If you let me meet with him, I'll be happy," Loretta said to the two women's surprise
