Velma remained stiff at the entrance and didn't allow Sally to drag her further, she folded her arms and shot Sally a look that depicted that she must be foolish.
"What's that look for, Velma?" Sally asked.
"Are you asking me? why in the world would you insult that man? did you know who Mr. Willard is at all? he's likely to become the next president of our country, not only that, he's got many big companies, and he's wealthy and handsome. Yet, he sent someone to see you and all you could do is send a message to him to go to hell?" Velma was angry.
This was an opportunity that many people out there are looking for but her friend is trivializing it.
"Velma, that man is trying to create a relationship with my daughter? rich men can be very dangerous, he might claim my daughter to his custody just because they looked alike. I don't want to have anything to do with the man, I don't care who he is," Sally said.
Velma bit her lower lips and angrily went to sit, she browsed her phone and showed one of the hottest pictures of Willard to Sally, Sally indeed was captivated by his handsomeness but she pretended like she wasn't affected by it.
She handed the phone over to Velma and said," Velma, let's leave that man aside, let's talk about myself, I need to get a job as soon as possible, I can't keep depending on you."
Velma let out a sigh and said," Didn't you study architecture in school?"
"Of course, I do," Sally answered.
Velma remembered that Manuel had said Willard owned Glat Architecture, she reasoned that if Willard noticed the presence of Velma in the company, he would employ her.
Although Manuel described Willard's status to Sally it seems Sally didn't take notice, Velma placed a call to her uncle, Joe, who works at Glat Architecture and asked her uncle if it was possible for Sally to get a job at the company. Joe told her there was indeed an opportunity for an interior Architect and that her friend may come the following day for an interview.
"I just spoke with my uncle, he said you could come tomorrow for an interview," Velma said and Sally became very elated.
Once she was able to secure a job, she would go back to her sister and fight for what belonged to her mother.
Sally and Velma planned on going to the company the following day to submit her CV.
"Repeat what she said!" Willard was boiling in anger after Manuel had told him precisely what Sally said.
"She said you should go to hell. Boss, that woman needs to be taught a lesson, she's very arrogant, I even described who you are to her but she just doesn't care," Manuel said.
Willard drummed his legs to the floor in anger and said," I'll sure need to teach her a lesson," he gritted his teeth and dismissed Manuel.
When it was the following day, he was in the office when a knock landed on his door.
"Come in," he said and the man entered.
"Sir, a woman seems capable for the position of an interior Architect, I interviewed her and so far, she's very skilled, I'm sure she would be protective, sir," Joe said.
Willard nodded, "Bring her employment letter, let me sign it."
"I'm here with it already," Joe walked close to Willard and placed the employment letter that had Sally's full name on it.
Willard signed the letter and asked," Are you sure this woman would be productive?"
"Very sure, sir," Joe answered and Willard dismissed him.
Once he returned to his office, he gave the approved employment letter happily to Sally, Sally jumped up happily. She was glad that she had just secured a job in the biggest Architectural company in the country.
Although she was a distinction student at the university, she did not expect to get a good
job in such a company.
She quickly placed a call across to Velma who was outside of the building, since Velma wasn't the sir," Joe said.
Willard nodded, "Bring her employment letter, let me sign it."
"I'm here with it already," Joe walked close to Willard and placed the employment letter that had Sally's full name on it.
Willard signed the letter and asked," Are you sure this woman would be productive?"

"Come out quick, let's go and celebrate," Velma said and Sally stood, carried her small handbag and said to Joe," Thank you so much, Joe."
"My pleasure, please keep to all the rules of our employment," Joe reminded her and she nodded.
While she was walking out, Manuel saw her. He was sent on an errand by Willard, he didn't expect to see this arrogant woman in his boss's company.
He quickly ran back to Willard," Boss, that arrogant woman is here, I saw her step out of Joe's office."
Willard thought for a few seconds and reasoned that the lady could be the one who just secured a job in his company," what's her name?"
"Sally, sir," Manuel answered.
"Bring Joe here," Willard shouted angrily.
Manuel ran speedily and came along with Joe, Joe didn't understand what was going on but there was a look of fear on his face.
"Why did you employ that arrogant woman, call her immediately and tell her that her employment here is terminated," Willard ordered.
Joe treasured his job so much and he was scared that Willard might fire him even though he didn't know what exactly was making his boss angry, he placed a call to Sally at a time when she was inside the car with Velma, that both having a happy gist then when Joe's call came through on Sally's phone.
"Your employment is terminated, don't ever let me see you in Glat Architecture ever again," Joe warned sternly.
