Prologue
In quiet and luxurious room, a girl sat in the middle of the bed with her head between her knees, shivering like she always does after that nightmare, every night.
Her nails dug into her skin, her toes curled into the bedsheets and cold sweat beaded out her pores. The only sound she could hear was her loud breathing.
It took a while for her to come back to reality, to start being conscious of where she was again and being able to breathe somewhat calmly again.
With quiet and shaky steps, she walked towards the bathroom. Staring at her reflection after she turned on the lights, she saw a girl whose normally peachy skin looked a bit pale. The girl had hollow turquoise eyes and golden brown hair that stuck to her skin due of the sweat.
After a moment of staring, she washed her face with her trembling hands in attempt to bring back the color it had lost.
It was distracting her from thinking about the dream, or to be more precise, from what happened years ago.
One could only wonder why an event that happened years ago would constantly haunted her, and at night at that.
Well first, it incident happened at night, maybe around 9, at an old abandoned wood house in her old neighborhood.
It was an old event since it happened about ten ago, but her recollection of even the tiniest of details, like the color of the bow she used that day was not as hazy as it should be, much less the what, where and when of the incident.
Though, the how remained much more clear to her.
Things like how he touched her, his very filthy hands, dirtied with mud and what not touched her all over.
How his hot breath laced alcohol and tobacco poured on her face. Or was it something else? she wasn't sure but it smelled disgusting.
How his teeth pierced her skin fiercely to draw blood when she resisted his touch.
How she screamed out in pain, begging with tears for him to stop what he was doing to her but he didn't.
How she couldn't see anything due to the blind fold over her eyes, left to only feel the disgust and aversion he provided her.
She was only a ten year old girl who went to see her friend one last time before he left.
She usually met him at night anyway, so it wasn't really a problem for her when he mentioned meeting at night again. All she had to do was sneak away while her parents were asleep and meet him at their usual spot.
How was she supposed to expect that something as sickening and dreadful as that would happen to her.
The most confusing part of everything was, she never met her best friend that night but instead she met a monster.
Of course she had a lots of questions to ask her dear friend, the only problem was she never saw him again.
He had indeed left after that night.
