The Lord and Ting-ting arrived in heaven and requested an audience with the Emperor. The Emperor of the heavens was surprised to hear that his son had decided to visit him but he refused his request. He was alerted the minute that the darkness was released and together with his council they were busy trying to find the answer to his return. He knew that this was the reason that forces his son to return to the palace. With no answer to give to his son, he couldn't see him. He asked his servants to deliver a message to him. The message was that he was to return to earth and find his successor before her soul is completely corrupted with dark Qi. "We came all the way here and he sends a servant to us," the Lord complained. "You deserve it. This is payback," Ting ting replied. The Lord glared at him but he brushed it off and pretended not to have seen anything. "Let's go." Li Mingyu and ting ting left the heavens and flew down to earth. They had only one task and that was to find Junxiu but they knew that it wouldn't be that easy to find her when the darkness was trying to hide. Even ting ting could not sense her with his bond to her. Li Mingyu returned to the school where all the students and teachers were waiting for him. They had all returned from their spirit realm with their spirit beasts. They were waiting at the school for him to announce the end of the task. He walked to the principal and whispered something into his ear before walking away. The principal announced the first school holiday and released all the students at once. The students and teachers were shocked by the holiday that they received at the beginning of the school but they kept their grievances silent. The Lord in his disguise as Overlord invited all the overlords in the Dragon Empire. He gave them the orders of finding Junxiu. All of them were given a cultivation method to cultivate to seek out her soul. All the six overlords stood on the school grounds and made the arrangements to begin the task. Flying to the sky they formed a circle around the school. Their qi united their circle as they cultivated. They cultivated different elements and made them function as one. Each overlord was chosen one element to use; water, air earth, fire, light, and darkness were all bent by the Overlords to help in tracking down Gu Junxiu. The people down the mountain saw the beautiful colors t the elements made when they came together. They watched the sect in awe at the beauty of the colors but were clueless about the happening in the school. Some people made up their versions of what was happening in the sect and the fake stories traveled around. The story changed as it moved on from one person to the next. Everyone told it differently from how they heard it. ***** Gu Junxiu was too focused on cultivating the qi in her surrounding. She had no idea all the trouble the Lord was going through to find her. She had only one thought in her mind and that is to save Zhu Xi and bring him back home. She opened her eyes and got up from the floor. She placed her hand over her heart and tried to explain the weird feeling in her heart. She felt like she was at home and complete. Her heart was warm with happiness. "Why do I feel like this?" she asked herself. Her mind thought back to what Zhu Xi said about them being able to feel what the other person is feeling with the pair if a tie bond. She looked around the room for Zhu Xi but the boy was nowhere to be seen. Gu Junxiu's heart raced in her chest as she imagined what could have happened to Zhu Xi. She was afraid of the boy and ran around the palace trying to find him. "Zhu Xi," she screamed as she searched every room she could find. "Where are you?" Her voice echoed in the castle. She didn't care that she might alert her kidnappers as all her concerns were in finding the boy. She remembered the promise she made the boy about keeping him safe. She hoped that it was not too late for her to keep her promise. "Zhu Xi," she continued to scream. She was losing her mind with the worry of the many possibilities of what could have happened to the boy played out in her mind. She tried to calm her mind but the worry was eating up at her that she couldn't. "Why are you shouting so much," Zhu Xi asked her appearing from one of the rooms. He yawned and stretch his hands in the air like someone who had just woken up from his sleep. Gu Junxiu ran and hugged him so tightly. Her body they were trembling with fear finally was able to relax when she saw that the boy was okay. "Why didn't you answer me when I called," she scolded. "I was sleeping," Zhu Xi replied. Junxiu carried Zhu Xi back to their room and laid him on the bed. She reached out to the table and took an apple and handed it over to the boy to eat. She had cultivated for a long time and hence she didn't feel hungry. "I don't want to eat that." "If you don't eat you will grow weak. And you need to be strong for when we ran away from here," she said trying to coarse him to eat. "That is not possible. Bodies get weak when they lack food, not the soul and both of us don't have our bodies so whether we eat or not it is fine," he said reminding Junxiu of the fact that they were currently in their spirit forms. Gu Junxiu kept the fruit back at the table. Her mind drifted off to thoughts of the Lord to get to forget her current situation for the moment. She smiled at the memory from the lake. Zhu Xi stared at her and his eyes turned dark, he could see her thoughts and feel her desires for the Lord get stronger and with it, his hatred for the immortal also grew stronger.
