The darkness

Gu Junxiu opened her eyes feeling tired, there was pain all over her. She got up from the floor and studied her surrounding trying to figure out where she was. The examined the beautiful room and wondered if she had travelled to a different world or a different time line like she had done before. She walked towards the door but fell back down on the floor. That is when she realised that she was chained to something. She lifted the chain and followed it to see where the end was tired to. She went to the next room connected to the one she was in pulled on the chain till she reached the source. The end of the chain was not tired to something but a someone, she stared at the young boy who seemed to be no older than eight years old. The boy was laying on the floor unconscious, she checked his pulse to see if he was still alive and released a sigh of relief that he was still breathing. She picked him up and carried him on her back. She made her way outside the room and tried as much as she could not to make any noise. She got to the living room and saw her sword, she rushed to get it and commanded the sword to cut off the chains. Once that was done she took her ring and kept it in her pocket. She put some Qi into the sword the way she did when she made a contract with the spirit beast and got on it with the boy on her back. She got to the skies and left the cave making a hole to the place. A dark shadow followed behind her and took the form of a bracelet and attached itself to the boy without her notice. She flew away as fast as she could but still feeling dizzy, her body kept threatening to fall off the sword but she persisted. Her body eventually gave out and she fell unconscious again but did not fall off the sword. The boy's hand pointed forward and the sword obeyed. The bracelet radiated dark Qi that kept them both on the sword and guided them out of the realm. The two slept unaware of the things that were going on. The sword came to the to the golden tree and went through to the other side. The sword stopped before the tree and watched as the tree began to shed it's leaves and shed blood. The tree was dying slowly and there was nothing anyone could do to save her. The bracelet pointed to Gu Junxiu's pocket and removed the ring from her pocket and threw it away. Ting Ting came out of the ring in full glory ready to attack the dark presence that he felt in the area. He released his own Qi into the air to suppress the dark Qi but it failed. He looked at Gu Junxiu unconscious body and the boy on her back and went white with shock. "Save your energy for the battle to come and do not waste it on us. Your Lord should be here soon, send him my regards and tell him that I will forever remember his kindness," came a deep evil voice from the boy. He lifted his head and opened his eyes and glanced at the fox. "You are no match for me so don't try to be brave. It won't be good if you die now when the war has yet to begin. Tell Li Mingyu that I will see him soon," he said and laid his head back on Gu Junxiu's shoulder and went to sleep. The sword received the orders and flew away in the opposite direction leaving Ting Ting to stare at them in disbelief. Seeing the darkness face to face was not a dream he ever wished for. Gu Junxiu floated away on the sword as the bracelet masked her Qi and her scent so no one could track her down. They travelled the same path as the man who took her body but they didn't stop at the mountain like he did. They kept on going for hours and hours, the bracelet grew stronger and stronger generating negative energy from all that were beneath them. Be it humans or beast as long as they had negative energy the bracelet sacked it. They went passed the Phoenix kingdom but still kept going. The sword made a stop at the dessert far away from any life, it carefully set them down on the ground. The woke up and got off her back, he clapped his hands together and the sand lifted from the ground. He used his blood to break the array in the desert that revealed a castle right in the middle of the desert. He took Gu Junxiu into the castle and the array activated once again, hiding the castle from plain sight. He got into the castle and flew up into the sky without the sword and helped Gu Junxiu to one of the rooms in the third floor. He sealed the whole castle with very powerful runes and arrays that not even the Lord could break. He then got out of his clothes and decided to take a bath in the lake behind his castle. He entered the dark water and swam around in, he swam with killer sharks and water serpents in the water but none dared to attack him. He swam in the water that stretched far and wide in the water and into a small village in the outskirts of the desert. He got to the shores of the lake and saw some fishermen at the distance fishing. Feeling hungry from the journey he got back in the water and swam towards them. He was careful not to startle them and when he got close enough he waited and aimed for the big looking man in the boat. He sprinted off the water and grabbed the man and ducked into the water again. The other fishermen screamed out loud and tried to see what had attacked them and took their friend. The next moment they saw their friend's body parts floating in the water. They rowed out of the water and scurried off, The boy came out of the water and looked in the direction that the fishermen had run to. His eyes were pure black like the darkness of a moonless night. He smiled and inhaled their fear before getting back to the water and swimming back to his castle.
