LUKAS P.O.V.  

After our conversation with my mom, Alpha James and Luna Alex I went back to room to enjoy a nice hot shower, it had been a long time since I had a long hot shower let alone a nice one. As I was getting clothes out that Sam had grabbed for me there was a knock on the door.  

“Luka, May I come in?” I heard Luna Alex say 

“Of course, Luna” I said walking over and opening the door for her and James.  

“We wanted to apologize.” Luna Alex said sitting at one of the chairs beside a small table in the room.  

“Okay?” I asked confused. 

“Luka, when you left Black moon in hopes to find Willow, we all thought you were stupid, but however much we tried to push you away from the situation, you never stopped until you found her. We all thought you were dead Luka, and then you turn up randomly in the middle of our woods. But before anyone could even talk to you, you collapsed.” Luna Alex said her voice cracking  

“Please Luna Alex, don’t feel bad at all, everyone thought I was stupid going after someone that had been missing for two years” I answered giving her a reassuring look  

“That’s what we don’t understand Luka, how did you find her?” Luna Alex replied looking at me with pleading puppy dog eyes. 

“Honestly Aunt Alex, Uncle James. Something told me to look for her, that I needed to be the one who found her. I started not being able to sleep and when I would I would only dream of Willow and some place she was in, which is how I knew where she was. I followed every dream and it led me to the pack house. Soon I was hired on as a rouge wolf but it took a little for me to be able to find her. The house was a maze, like nothing I had ever seen before. Maybe in the movies but not in real life and every time I tried to, I always got turned around and confused. Soon I made a map of the entire house. Every place I had already been I marked, if there was a new door, I added it. I followed every dream after to figure out how to find her and get her out alive. I’m sorry I couldn’t have gotten her back sooner.” I answered pulling out a piece of paper from my pants pocket and handing it to James and Alex.  

“Luka, don’t you dare apologize. You did everything you could and you did it all on your own! No matter the time frame she is alive and almost home. And that is because of you Luka!” Alex yelled at me making me feel a little better.  

“I am sorry Luka...” I heard James mumble under his breathe  

“What?” I asked shocked and confused looking between Alex and James.  

“I am sorry Luka. When you first got here, I was so mad you showed up without her. You promised me to stay alive and to find my daughter and bring her home but I never knew why. I never understood why two years after she went missing from an entirely different pack than your own, you surrendered your title as Alpha and left. You never gave anyone a reason you just left.” James said to me, His eyes finally meeting mine after he finished, there were tears streaming down his face.  

“Uncle James, Willow was one of my best friends, yeah we had a falling out right before she went missing but I still love her.” I said looking into his. Never would I tell anyone other than my parents that I loved them but with willow, I don’t know if it's much of a friendship thing at this point.  

“Luka, thank you or finding out daughter” James said to my tapping me on the shoulder  

“Luka you have done a lot for us without even realizing it.” Alex said grabbing my hand and looking into my eyes.  

“If you would like, you are more than welcome to stay here. In dark moon with us.” James said looking down at me. 

“Thank you for the offer but I feel like I need to return home and explain myself to the elders.” I responded quickly  

“Of course, Luka. Anything you need. We are actually going home finally. So, I guess I will see you tomorrow morning Luka.” Alex said kindly tapping his hand and walking to the door.  

“Of course, Alpha James, Luna Alex.” I said and bowed my head.  

“It's Aunt Alex and Uncle James to you.” James said closing the door behind him. I had almost forgot I wanted to shower.  

I started walking to the bathroom clothes in hand when vivid flashbacks of my nights traveling with Willow came flooding back in my mind like a tidal wave.  

---BEGIN FLASHBACK--- 

“Come on Willow!” I said to her pulling her by the arm. 

“Luka I can’t...” She said holding her waist.  

“What’s wrong?” I paused for a second taking in her body as a whole. Five years and she still looks perfect. 

“Luka” Willow said pulling up the side of her shirt and pulling down the side of her pants to expose her hip 

“Willow what the f**k happened?!” I yelled at her making her cower in fear.  

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to scare you” I said quickly assuring her I wasn’t mad at her. 

“Kris, he cut me with a silver bladed knife just a couple of days ago” Willow answered trying to look at it.  

It was dark with only the moonlight to light our way. It was hard to see in the woods so I quickly found a clearing with a small pond, it was hot out but not too hot. Just the right amount to wear shorts and no shirt. I watched the water for a second. Taking it all in to see if there looked to be anything other than clean water. Most of the water we find on the mountain is clean and stabilized, safe to drink as well without having to boil or burn it. I figured this would be a nice place to set up camp for the night. I walked back to where I had left Willow while I went to look, I found her nearby at a tree stump in the woods. The moonlight hitting her blonde hair just perfectly, her shorts and tank top hugging every curve on her body, for being beaten and starved she figured out how to keep a normal weight for someone of her statue. She was beautiful in all of her glory at one with nature. Where she was always meant to be. Her perfect body, with an amazing deal of trauma behind it. I looked at her intrigued as she picked flowers and started pulling the stuff out of the center of them. I was confused at first and then I realized, her mom used to be a nurse so she probably taught her a thing or two, after a little while her gaze finally met mine making me stumble on my words.  

“You okay?” She asked in a sincere voice.  

“w-w-what?” I said taking a deep breath trying to calm myself.  

“You okay?” She asked and started walking towards me.  

“Yeah...I’m fine.” I answered as she inched closer, I have never been this nervous around a woman before, let alone Willow. Truth is I used to pick on her a lot. Especially when she came to our pack. Which was quite often then not. We used to be friends and then she started hanging out with Jason more and more and I honestly grew quite jealous of that, truth is I always thought Willow was beautiful but instead of being a normal kid I picked on her instead. A lot of theory's went around as to what happened between her and Jason before she went missing, but slowly they started to fade off even though every year on her birthday the whole pack had a celebration just for her. I was hoping we would be back in time for her to have her own this year.  

“Luka?” Willow looked at me confused tearing me from my thoughts as I searched her entire body with my eyes.  

“Oh, um yeah so I found a stream that is clean and figured we would camp near it for the night. I can also help you clean that uh...” I started to say but slowly trailed off as I didn’t know exactly what to call it, was it a mark? A cut? I wasn’t sure.  

“The cut.” Willow said sternly as if she was reading my thoughts 

“Yeah that” I said rubbing my neck leading Willow towards the stream. 

She looked at the sky in awe taking in every second of it as she twirled around just happy to finally be free. I watched her closely, as she twirled around everything else seemed to melt away. I wasn’t sure if it was because of the scenery or because it was Willow but this became more than just a stupid school crush, I was falling in love with this woman. As I was watching her vivid images of what I would like to do to her suddenly popped into my mind. I could feel myself growing but couldn’t do anything to stop it. I sat there for a few more minutes letting her enjoy herself 

“Luka” Willow said holding out her hand 

“Yea?” I answered looking at her confused 

“Dance with me?” She asked with pleading eyes. This just made it so much worse 

“Not right now Willow” I said and turned away from her 

“No, now Luka!” She walked over to me grabbing my hands and dragging me on to my feet before I even had a chance to react 

“Willow. I said no” I said and tried to walk away 

“Oh, okay.” She said in a sad voice and just stood there looking at the sky. 

 Get yourself under control Luka! I yelled at myself and walked towards her taking her hands in mine and spinning her in every direction, a smile creeped along her face as she looked down from the sky to meet my gaze. She left out a small chuckle and started to laugh.  

“Feel better?” I asked her with a smile 

“Yes.” She said with a smile across her face. What was this woman doing to me, and why? 

“Can you help me Luka?” She asked trying to clean her hip 

“Yeah of course darling” I said the words just escaping my mouth before I could stop them.  

“Darling huh?” She said mocking me 

“Couldn’t think of something better?” She asked letting out a small laugh 

“I’ll think of something better” I said looking at her hip. Taking water and cleaning it off with some old clean rags I found before we left. Every time I touched it, she winced, I knew it hurt but I needed her to stay still.  

“Willow, this is going to hurt a lot but I promise it will feel better soon, okay?” I said reassuring her and giving her something to bite down on.  

“Okay.” She said putting the rag in her mouth  

“Whatever you do, do not move away. And do not scream” I told her sternly. She just nodded her head in agreement 

I took out some sterilizing spray I stole from the pack hospital before we left that unfortunate place, I stoked up on some things we might need along the journey. Snacks, drinks, medical supplies, clothes, you name it. I probably had it. I started to lightly spray it until the sting wore off, ran some water over the cut and did it again until it stopped bubbling. Probably about 4 or 5 times I had to do this and every time Willow mumbled into the rag a bunch of curse words and muffled screams of pain. I knew it hurt but I had to help her the only way I knew how to. I wiped it down and sprayed it once more before letting it air dry and sticking gauze to it. 

“Okay, I’m done” I said looking up at Willow who now had tears in her eyes.  

“Okay.” She said pulling the rag out of her mouth 

“Luka?” She said to me, meeting my gaze 

“Yeah Flower?” I said trying out a new nickname for her 

“Thank you.” She said with pleading eyes.  

“Anything for you. “ I said picking her and laying her down on a nice soft bed of grass I made for us.  

“Luka?” She said again gaining my full attention  

“Yeah?” I said once again  

“I’m cold, Lay with me?” She asked and my heart skipped a beat and my breath caught in my throat.  

“Okay.” I said laying down next to her holding her in my arms, close to my body so my heat would hopefully be enough for her.  

As we laid there cuddled up beside one another, her head on my chest I felt her slowly drift off to sleep, I slipped out from underneath her and took it all in, I wanted to remember this day forever. After a few minutes of just looking at her I quickly undressed and shifted into my wolf, Havoc. He looked at her and purred like a tiny little pup. I crawled up next to her and laid down, she would get more heat this way and I could still sleep while being alert of our surroundings. I looked at her one last time before closing my eyes and trying to sleep. I wanted so badly to make it make sense for her. I wanted to take all of her pain away, I wanted her to live her best life and be free. But most of all. I wanted it to be with me. 

---END FLASHBACK--- 

I returned from my flashback in the shower, hot and long that’s what I wanted and that’s what I got. Thinking about Willow that night was making me hot and heavy. I stood there for a moment before I decided to finish myself off. After I was done, I quickly washed my body and got out. I heard a knock on the room door 

“Just a second!” I yelled and peaked my head out of the door leaving it cracked so I could get dressed quickly  

“Luka?!” I heard a familiar voice say from in the room 

“Alexis?!” I quickly asked throwing my shorts on over my boxers and picking up my shirt while walking out into the room  

“Luka hey!!” She yelled throwing her arms around me  

“Hey!” I answered returning the hug 

“What are you doing here?!” she asked quickly 

“It’s a long story but it’s not mine to tell. Well part of it is but I'd rather not.” I said chuckling when I was suddenly met with a slap upside the head.  

“OW!” I yelled and turned around to find my mom and dad.  

“Luka Sterling Morgan!” My mom Mindy yelled at me.  

“What?!” I said confused 

“You scared us you big i***t!” She yelled at me pulling me in for a hug. I was 21 years old, well over the age of a legal adult and I was still being treated like a child  

I turned around remembering Alexis was still in the room  

“Sorry Alexis, these are my parents, Luna Mindy and Alpha Ron” I said introducing them to my Ex-girlfriend. 

“And who are you?” My mom asked confused.  

“I am Luka’s girlfriend” Alexis answered shocking all of us, even me.  

“Ex-girlfriend, Alexis” I corrected her before getting hit upside the head again.  

“Well, it is nice to meet you Alexis but we need to talk to Luka alone, please” My mom said extending her arm to the door and showing Alexis out. I have never been so grateful to need my mom 

“Okay, Luka I'll see you later?” Alexis said before my mom slammed the door in her face  

“Well, that wasn’t very Luna like mom” I said laughing, Dad joined in but mom smacked him and stopped. 

“We have set up a meeting with the Elders tomorrow. We would like you to go to them and take back your rejection from the pack” My mom said to me 

“Good, I'm glad I planned on asking you to do that anyways” I said putting my shirt on.  

“Where are you going?” My mom asked  

“Nowhere, just getting comfortable to sleep in an actual bed and not the grass” I said laughing  

“Son, we are very proud of you, and thankful you are still alive” My father said which shocked me since the last time I saw him he said he never wanted to see me again for throwing my life away 

“Thanks dad, I appreciate that” I said looking at him.  

“I still believe you should be Alpha when I retire Luka; you were first in like other than Sam but he took his place here at Dark Moon. It’s coming time for you to take your place at Black Moon, as Alpha.” My father said to me giving me a reassuring look. 

“Dad, I think for once; it might just be nice to be in my own bed.” I answered with a slight chuckle.  

“Okay well, we can talk about it on our way home tomorrow morning.” My mom said giving me a hug and walking towards the door.  

“Okay, Night guys” I said and laid down. I got on my phone to see the super natural news going off the charts. Someone linked information on me and Willow. Mostly Willow.  

This isn’t good. I need to run damage control. Just as I was in my thoughts on how to save this, I got a text.  

“Hey, here is a number I want you to call.” My mother said being incredibly cryptic.  

“Um, okay?” I texted back  

“Just call it” She texted again 

“What the hell is this woman up to” I said out loud.  

“Hello?” I said as the other line answer  

“Luka?” I heard a familiar voice say and smile creep upon my face my breath catching in my throat 

“Flower hey!” I said while sitting up 

“How are you? Did you make it okay?” She said her voice soft and sweet 

“Yeah, I made it fine, I'm okay. How are you?” I asked lowly, hearing her voice makes my heart smile. I don’t understand this feeling.  

“I’m good” “OOOH LUKA!” “SHUT UP” I heard Willow say with another female voice in the background 

“Is it a bad time?” I said laughing  

“No its okay, Just my friends being idiots” Willow said loudly.  

“Hey, sorry I’m late.” I heard a male voice say over the phone.  

“Oh, it's fine” Willow said lowly  

“You having a party without me Flower?” I asked smiling  

“No, just a sleepover with some friends” Willow said  

“Oh okay” I said lowly.  

“Do you want to say Hi? Its Jess, Megan, Alyssa and Jason?” She asked me.  

“Oh, um sure flower” I said laughing a bit trying to hide my jealously from her.  

“You’re on speaker” she said.  

“Hey guys!” I said happily  

Suddenly I was getting a facetime call from Willow. I answered it. Of course.  

“Hey Flower, it's nice to see your face and not just hear your voice.” I said smiling at her 

“Hi Luka!” All the girls screamed in the back ground and Jay just held up his hand, I saw Willow elbow Jason making him grunt and actually open his mouth  

“Hey Luka.” He said and rolled his eyes.  

“Hold on a second, talk to Jess. “ Willow said handing the phone to Jess.  

“Hey Luka, find a mate yet?” Jess asked raising her eyebrows.  

“No, but hopefully soon” I said and smiled back  

“Stop hitting me!” I heard Jason scream 

“Stop being a d**k!” I heard Willow shout.  

“I said hi!” I heard Jason yell again  

“Yeah, but you were a d**k about it!” Willow yelled and I could hear the contact she made with his skin.  

“Ow, that sounded like it hurt.” I said laughing.  

“It did” Jason said out of view.  

“Okay, enough talking everyone out!” I heard Willow yell 

“But we aren’t supposed to leave you” I heard Megan yell  

“And I just came back!” I heard Jason yell  

“Well, you shouldn’t have spent all day gone, and I’ll be fine for five f*****g minutes talking to Luka!” She yelled and slammed the door locking it and smiling back at the phone 

“Hey” She said lowly  

“Hey there flower” I said in a deep husky voice. What kind of mind control is this?! 

“So, sorry about that” She said shrugging it off  

“It’s okay Flower, I’m just happy to see you” I said laughing it off  

“Oh yeah?” She asked happily trying to hide it  

“Yeah, you’re my flower.” I said smiling  

“Your flower huh?” She asked as a smile creeped across her face, turning his face 3 shades of red.  

“Yeah. My flower.” I said again making her blush more  

“I can’t wait to go home!” She yelled through the phone while everyone else was pounding on the door.  

“Oh yeah?” I asked wittingly  

“yeah” she said rolling her eyes.  

“Well hopefully you won’t feel that way after tomorrow.” I said letting out a deep sigh and leaning back  

“What do you mean?” She asked and c****d her head to the side.  

“I’m coming to you tomorrow” I said smiling  

“Really?!” She squealed happily  

“Yeah, I’m coming home. Maybe I can stay with you tomorrow night?” I asked happily  

“I mean yeah of course. But no one is going to leave unless your mom demands it.” She said laughing  

“I’ll see what I can do” I said smirking.  

“Well, I'm going to let you go before they literally BREAK DOWN THE DOOR” She yelled as she opened it and everyone piled on top of her  

“Okay, call me if you need me. Flower” I said making her blush one last time  

“OOOOO FLOWER” all the girls yelled in unison.  

“Bye Luka.” She said smiling and blushing at me before she hung up the phone.  

I can only imagine what is happening over there I said laughing to myself. It’s like all the stress melted away when I heard her voice. I sat there for a second before letting my heart flutter, before I was quickly ripped away from thoughts from the sound of my phone ringing.  

“Luka. It’s nice to know you are still alive” Kas said on the other side, Kas is a part of our company and manages stuff like bad leaked stuff that could potentially cause harm to the company and bury it. 

“Kas, surprised you called.” I said to her.  

“Are you though?” She asked  

“I am.” I said again  

“Well then, I guess you haven't seen the news.” She said with an angry tone.  

“I have, I was going to call you but I had to make another call instead.” I said with a tone of amusement.  

“Oh yeah? What is more important then the company?!” She hissed back with a disrespectful tone 

“Willow” I asked respectful as a smile slid across my face 

“You are seriously still talking to her Luka! Do you even understand where our relationship is it?!” She yelled back at me  

“Our relationship is over Kas, you ended it the day I left remember?” I hissed back tense.  

“I said if you left, I was done Luka. That’s not the same thing.” She snapped back  

“And I left. It was ended Kas.” I answered sharply  

“Listen I don’t really have time for this, I’ll be home tomorrow.” I answered quickly and hung up the phone before she could respond.  

I am 21 years old and I still have yet to find a mate. Some wolfs are made to wait until they are 25 so I don’t mind, sometimes even longer. Sometimes they take a chosen mate and end up rejecting theirs. Just because they don’t want to wait. I have had my fair share of girlfriends. I just refuse to take a chosen mate without giving my actual mate a chance. This caused a lot of problems between Kas and I. Since she wanted me to mark her as my chosen and I refused and soon after left to find Willow. Kas was very clingy. I hate clingy. There was a lot about our relationship that wasn’t good, but honestly, I left to find Willow and I did. That’s all I had on my mind and I made it happen.
