Rael's POV
The myriad of darkness swallowed me, gripping my entire body like gravity and when its vine-like structure touched my skin, it burnt to my bones, eating my flesh like a rabid dog.
It had been a long time since I had endured such pain, bringing me back to the reign of my brother during his days on the throne.
GAH!!!!
My muffled screams were held back when the vine impaled my abdomen, reaching for my core. It felt like all of my blood was being sucked into it.
Move! Move!!!
I crawled my way through the acidity of the air, fighting the current blocking my way and I found myself in the middle of nowhere with crippling bones and falling flesh. My fingers were bones, reaching for the light flickering in the dark sea.
