"Was that too bold of a move?"
Aegnar gave out a flabbergasted look that silent the world. The females swarming him were silent as they changed looks between Aegnar and me.
"Pfft!"
Aegnar tilted his back while laughing his heart out. His hands waved around, shooing the females away.
"Tell me." Aegnar drew in a steady breath. He leaned down, clasping his hand with eyes full of curiosity staring at me. "What did Rael do next?"
"He left."
Aegnar once again lost his cool. His laughter echoed down the garden, halting passersby.
"Do you think he is mad at me?"
Aegnar shook his head. He chunked down a bottle of wine, relinquishing his thirst in this cold air.
