After the interview, Lucas couldn't get Scarlet off his head. He didn't understand why this was happening. She looked innocent and humble he thought
Most of the people who came to the interview were full of themselves. They were even trying to bribe the hiring officials to get a job but she didn't . She needed someone like her to work for him.
He decided to call his right-hand man to do a background check on her
"Hello I want to know more about scarlet, find out where she lives and her background, and get back to me before the end of the day."He told someone on the phone and hunged up.
The day went on so well but he couldn't get her out of his mind. His right man was taking so long to respond ,and he couldn't wait any longer. When he was about to phone him,his secretary came to inform him that he the board members were already waiting for him.
. He couldn't wait until Scarlet gets there it will be fun working with her," He thought as he picked up the documents and headed to the meeting
Everyone was already there."Over the last few weeks, our company has been performing very badly and the investors are threatening to withdraw. They are planning to join our competitors. If they leave the company is going to collapse and most of you will lose your jobs. We have to do something before it's too late."
After serious consultation and coming into an agreement the meeting came to an end.
As he was going back to the office he got a call." sir The job is done. She comes from around and she lives with her mother. She is the provider of the family since her mother is unwell.
