There I Sat

She’s the only one that can still reach the spirit world, she has kept this hidden from most to stop those that would use her for their own gain, but she’s been discovered and now…a war is coming. 

With the connection to the spirit world comes the power to control the elements in the natural world. The gift was lost many decades ago, until now. She keeps her powers secret, except for a few that she trusted. Her village is raided and when she sees her parents and brother butchered by the king’s men, there is nothing she can do when the power unleashes itself. Suddenly the gift is no longer a secret and as the king plans a war he makes his number one priority finding the spirit girl. Because she could change the tides of a battle, she could bring down kingdoms. She makes friends along the way, forms a rebellion and as war commences and innocents are killed, she starts to wonder if her powers are a gift or a burden.
