Its been three days and he hasn’t heard from her, he has been to her house , she hasn’t been coming for work and her phone has been off, so he has involved cade security company owned by his friend Micheal Kincade. And right now he is paying a visit to his father because if Nancy is missing, his father should be in the right position to know.
He reached his father’s place and went directly to his study. He found his father in the study busy on his computer while taking a glass of whiskey.
"Do you know where she is?”
"Even if I know where she is do you really think I would tell you?”
"What do you want from me?” he asked his father, this man looked so simple but he is the toughest man he has ever come across.
"I want you to quit that useless hobby you have at the hospital, marry Monique and take over the family business.”
"She is pregnant dad.”
His father raised his eye brows in question.
Donald thought to himself, if his father didn’t know that Nancy was pregnant, then where was she? Monique!!!?
He rushed to his car and drove off to Monique’s place.
He had the key to her house so he just opened the door and entered he found her in the living room with her father. Donald’s heart skipped a bit, now he was really scared for Nancy’s life.
"Don how are you?” he greeted Monique’s father.
"Am fine son only waiting for you to marry my daughter.”
"Monique can I talk to you in private?”
"Sure lets go to the study.”
When they reached the study he shut the door with a bang. "Where is she?” He asked with so much anger in his eyes.
"I think you should rethink your approach towards this issue Donald.”
"For goodness sake she is pregnant!!!”
"Yes she is pregnant with your child, how can you be so careless as to impregnate some stupid useless woman? And did you seriously think I was going to allow this nonsense? Am the one who is supposed to carry your children so it’s either she gets rid of the pregnancy or I kill her.”
"Where is she I want to see her.”
"No you won’t see her, I can’t allow that.”
Donald got so pissed, his eyes became dark and cold. He walked towards Monique and said, "you can’t allow it? Who do you think you are? Have you forgotten who you are talking too?”
Monique got scared as much as she is cold hearted, she knows that Donald is worse. This is the man who watched his mother kill herself when he was ten years old and the first time he killed a person was when he was eleven years old. Even though he is a doctor and he saves lives, he easily takes them as well without any regret.
So Monique cleared her throat and said," I promise she will be taken care of, but you have to marry me next weekend and I will only release her after six months of us been married to each other.”
"You really think you are all that don’t you? It looks like you have forgotten that I don’t like been told what to do. Besides I already promised to marry you, am a man who keeps his word so don’t you dare insult me. Am warning you right now Monique stop giving me ultimatums I want to see her and I want to see her now.”
"What’s going on here?” her dad walked in and asked.
"Nothing dad we were just making plans for our wedding which will take place next week.” She answered with a smile.
"Wonderful news finally let me go and talk to my friend we have both been waiting for the two of you to give us a date.” And he walked out
"I need to see her”.
"No you will only see her after we get married.”
Donald was so frustrated so he just walked out, when he got into his car he called Michael
"Any news for me?”
"Not yet.” Michael said
"Is your company even legit? She is a small woman how can you take so long to find her?” he yelled at him through the phone
"Hey am dealing with the mafia’s daughter here, Besides you are the best person to help me find her, you and Monique’s mind work alike where do you think she took her?”
Donald chuckled and said; "Far away from me of course. Anyway you are my best man next week.”
"Ahh so you have finally decided to listen to your father and marry the devil from the west. Well congratulations my friend and of course I will be there.”
