I hopped out of bed to hear my alarm go off again.
"Wake up, it is time to get ready!" My alarm blared. I got dresses in my favorite jeans and a loose green shirt. I was about to walk down stairs when I feel like I forgot something.
Oh yeah I forgot Sarah!
I walked to my extra large walk-in closet and found Sarah sleeping on my extra bed. She looks so peaceful. I almost feel bad for want I'm going to do.
I run into my bathroom, grabbing a bucket from underneath the sink. I quickly filled it up with water and walked over to her. She is such a nice girl to have around. Maybe I shouldn't do this.
Wait, what the heck of course I am going to do it. After all, I didn't kill her like I was suppose to do.
I hold the bucket over her head and let a few drops come out. I waited for a minute to see if she would wake up. She moved to wipe the water droplets and turned on her side. I laugh as I pour out the rest of the water on her. She jumped out of bed and turned to me like she was going to rip my head off.
"What the heck, I was having an amazing dream about you and Jace going out-" She pauses and so did I. I haven't seen J since the hospital and he is usually here all the time.
Well, when I let him in.
"Sarah, get dressed we gotta go." I turn around and ran out of the room. I stopped in the kitchen and grab some food. I was about to walk out the door when Sarah called out for me. "Katelin, wait for me!"
I opened the door and she ran outside. I walked outside, closing the door behind me. I grabbed my bike and biked around the house once looking for J's bike. It's not here.
"Sarah!" I got off my bike and grabbed the keys to my car. "Let's go!" I start the car and she sits down next to me.
"Where are we going?"
I looked at her for a second and turn my eyes back to the road. "To J's parents. He not at my house like usual so I am hoping he visited them. He may not like them but they're still his parents."
She looked at me wanting to finish my thought. I pull into his driveway. "If not Z may have finally found him."
She looked terrified and hops out of the car. "Hurry, he can't be here long he could still be in the area. I know he must of left a note. Luckily for you, I know what he wants." She ran into the house and I closely followed.
We walked through the kitchen and living room. We were searching through the dining room. I feel like I'm being watched. So here's the thing, since the day I was born I have these strange power to tell if someone else was there or entering the room. I typically will turn to where the person is to see if I was correct.
This time I didn't look. I didn't need to because I know he is here.
Z is here.
