The on-air talent was a female with a voice perfect for popular radio – husky and matey, confident in her chit-chat about local happenings or when listeners rang in and introducing songs. No mention of Cam McAlister. That increased the risk she’d run into him at Miners Rest. Would he recognise her? She’d blended into the crowd of journos at Korweinguboora, like many, recording on her mobile phone. Just another female, albeit one he’d been close enough to breathe on.
