"You published a column in that magazine about me!"

Myles Harvey got my full attention when he spoke. I squinted my eyes remembering the column he was talking about. But I couldn't pinned that thing.

"I don't remember..."

Before I could say the whole thing Myles threw the magazine on my face. Luckily I stopped it right before it could do some serious damage to my face.

"Business world, Second page third column"

He barked. I flipped the pages to the business world where I saw the column and read it. I don't see anything which make him small or anything.

I gave him a look removing my glasses also. I was angry that some random man is wasting my time for a column. If he feels so offended than don't do PDA. Publishing companies are hungry for topics like this.

"How dare you publish something like this?"

Myles Harvey glared when he spoke. He was on my face screaming each word. I didn't get phased by his closeness because this is what people like him does to intimidate and scare people.

"You want answers? Follow me!"

I angrily forced out. Myles Harvey needs to be put back in his place. And the only way to do that is to talk to him with my editor in chief.

I walked in a fast pace even though I was in a 6 inches high heels. I walked by the reception where I saw my assistant. I told her to bring the file of last week magazine. I even talked to my editor in chief and she ordered me to bring Myles Harvey to the conference room.

We walked through the stares to the second floor. I don't see any problem using the stares and if he did than he would be using elevator. All the passers were looking at him as if a god was walking. I rolled my eyes at the girls behaviour.

When I entered the conference room through the heavy glass door, I didn't wait for him and let the door close on his face. I must be acting childish but he's responsible for it.

"Welcome Mr Harvey... Its a pleasure to have you here. Please make yourself comfortable."

My editor in chief, Cici said sweetly. I wanted to puke. She doesn't behave like this normally but when she saw him, her nature took a 180° turn. Wow nice.

Cici ordered me to bring coffee for Myles harvey. I gave my assistant, Shae a look and she went to bring coffee for him. Myles looked bored but I wasn't sure if his face was like that or he was actually bored.

"Cici, Mr Harvey have some issues with the last week published magazine."

I started and pulled some papers from the file I asked Shae to bring.

I was going to start the meeting but Shae came with a coffee and give it to him. Myles didn't even glance towards the coffee and spoke pissed off...

"I am not here for pleasantries."

"My company has a rule. We don't publicize anything without the access..."

I so wanted to roll my eyes at his remark but somehow stopped myself and started the meeting. Even Cici came into her formal look and paid attention.

"So you mean to say that I gave you the permission to publicize this?"

Myles Harvey cut me off and told me that I am blaming him for the column. I wanted to scream also but didn't.

"Mr Myles Harvey, let me complete!"

When I was sure he ain't going to cut me off again, I started again.

"Like I said the company don't publicize without the access to real information and permission. The column published because the woman in this photo herself gave the permission."

I stated and closed the file only to open my laptop where I recieved the mail for the woman in the picture.

I turned my laptop to him and waited for him to respond but he didn't said anything. He read the whole mail and saw the attachment. I smirked for making his mouth shut.

"I want you to forward this mail to me and next time you ask for my permission or else you will phase real consequences."

Myles Harvey stood up and bend down to say all this to my face. I heard him with my hands folded over my chest.

"Are you threatening me Mr Harvey?"

I asked.

"Why don't you find out yourself Clara?"

Myles every word was laced with disgust. As if he was suddenly feeling cheated. And why wouldn't he? After all his lady love ditched him.

After Myles left, I slide down on the chair to rest for few minutes. My eyes were closed to get some peace. Cici already left when she recieved an important call, so didn't know what we talked.

"He's really handsome isn't he. That woman must be dumb to cheat someone like Myles Harvey."

Shae gushed. I forced out a smile and nodded. Shae was so naive, she don't know how man in the business worlds are. Angel face with the devils mind.

"We don't know anything Shae and looks are not everything."

I said and stood up. I need to do my work or else Cici would be on my head at the end of the day. Shae followed me to my work place to work.

"Did you arranged the article the way I asked?"

Shae nodded and handed me the file, I went through every article to decide which one should be on top.

"How's Noah?"

A smiled at the mention of his name and looked at Shae. Noah and Shae have met few times. If I Noah wants to surprise me or something, he took Shae's help.

"He's handsome! Haha...

He's good... "

I joked. Shae knows Noah and I only got time during the weekend so every monday she asked me about him.

After talking for a while, we ordered lunch like usual and I got time for my love. Luckily our lunch timing was same. We couldn't meet during the week days, so we made a habit of video calling during lunch. This is the way we did lunch together and see each other.
