Trapped By The Devil

It was already Thursday, I was descending the stairs after finishing my work. Since tuesday I was too busy that I didn't had time to do lunch. Even today I didn't ate anything.

I received a lot of missed calls, voicemail and  and texts from Noah. But I didn't had time to properly talk to him. I was on repeat that I will call you later or talk you when I reach home.

The workload was so high that I spend a whole night in the office to complete work on time. It was still a suspense whose the new boss. The previous boss wanted to launch new magazine for the new boss.

So when I stepped into the office parking, I saw Noah leaning on his car. Bags were under his eyes, like he didn't slept for few days. When he saw me he stood straight and I ran into his arm by jumping on him. My legs immediately wrapped around his waist.

"I missed you my baby"

He murmured after inhaling the scent of my hair. My eyes moistened when I felt him tighten the hug. I missed him too.

During the night I didn't send him texts due to his sleep. Noah get very small amount of sleep and I don't want to disturb him by talking during the night.

"Gowd I missed you so much. "

I pecked on his lips and told. I must be crying because Noah wiped tears from my cheeks and caressed my hair.

"I am so sorry baby... I wanted to talk to you but the work load took all my time and by the time I get time to talk, it was already night."

I reasoned. Noah shook his head and murmured its okay against my lips then pull my bottom lip to initiate another kiss.

By the end of the kiss, I found myself on the passenger seat. Noah closed my side of the door and ran to driver seat to start the car. We left the office premises to go to my place.

Noah already bought food for us so I don't have to prepare it at home. He was understanding and caring. Whatever good words I use for his praise it will never be enough.

"I cooked it."

Noah spoke. My eyes twinkle at that. He is good at cooking. I picked the basket from the backseat and bring out a tiffin to smell the food. Instantly water came into my mouth.

"When did you get time for all if this?"

I asked in shocked. Noah doesn't know how to cook fancy cousine. He always sticks to regular food if he ever needs to make food at home.

"I took a day off and went to Kaleb's resturant. He instructed me and I cooked."

He said so casually like it isn't big thing. But it is for me.

Suddenly I felt an ache in my heart that he's putting so much effort in our relationship but I am not able to do the half of it. A thought crossed my mind that I don't deserve him but my selfishness won.

I can't lose Noah. He's mine and he forever will be. I want to marry him and have kids with him. He never told me to take pills after unprotected s*x because he once said, I am ready to become papa if you are no matter we are married or not.

It was me who don't want kids right now and Noah never questioned me. He wants my happinness before his. I also want to make him happy and treat him like a true king but time always comes between us.

"You are such a sweetheart NO... But you didn't have to do this. You came to meet me was enough to make me happy."

I said when we reached my building parking lot. My hands were cupping his face, so that he could see the seriousness in my eyes.

"I want to give you the whole world not enough"

Noah told me. Again my tears started rolling down. I don't know why I am crying so much after meeting him. My heart was filled with happiness and it overflowed by turning into tears.

"Heyyy... Stop... You are making me anxious"

He again wiped my tears and kissed both my cheeks than hugged my tightly.

"I love you so so so much Noah. Please don't ever leave me."

I said and hide my face in his chest. His hoodie soaked in my tears when we pulled apart.

"You are mine... So you stuck with for whole life!"

Noah stated and kissed my forehead before grabbing our stuff. He was going to carry my purse also but I refused and we walked to the elevator to reach at my floor.

I took a quick shower and ran to the kitchen in bathrobe where Noah was waiting for me. He served us and we started eating. When I was drinking water, I looked at his face and again my attention draws to the eye bag he was holding.

"Noah... You again ruined your sleep for me didn't you!"

Concerned laced my voice and I placed my hand over his on the table. He shouldn't do this when he's sleeping is already worst.

"I am fine... God Clara stop worrying about me."

He said as if I will stop worrying about him. He's all I got after my brother. And now Noah meant more than my own life.

"Noah I can't okkk! You are not ruining your sleep again for me. I want you to sleep after 11 that's it."

I yelled while ordering him otherwise he won't listen to me. He's not going to take care of himself, I know that.

"Fine... Fine... No need to yell"

Noah squeezed my hand to calm me down. He pulled me on his lap and we spoon feed me. After dinner I put the dishes in dishwasher to clean them.

He lifted me up in his arms and took me to the bedroom. Noah threw his hoodie on a chair and jumped into the bed only to walk on his four like a predator ready to jump on his target.
