Chapter 11

(Marys POV) 

Oh god no my baby "EMMA what's wrong what's wrong David what's going on with my baby??!!!" "Honey I'm sure the doctors will take care of her" "No No she was ok they told me she would be ok David I can't lose her" she sobbed in David's arms "Doctor Please help her" Mary cried "will someone please get them out of here come on people work with me here" "I'm sorry were going to do everything we can but you will need to leave the room please" a nurse said as she pushed them out of Emma's room Emma still shaking and her arms flying everywhere "please please help her" David pleaded tears in his eyes trying to be strong for his wife he couldn't lose his babygirl "come on Mary she will be fine" .....

(Reginas POV) 

She must have fallen asleep it is now dark again her arms were sore she felt weak but not as bad as she did when she woke up the last time she pressed the button for the nurse she needed water her throat was so dry she felt lightheaded and couldn't focus than her stomach rumbled she can't remember when she last ate something then it hit her wasn't Mary supposed to come back to her with food did she forget or maybe cake back seen I was asleep at left me but as she looked around she noticed no bags or food of any sort surely she would have left something knowing Regina in particular with her food why would she eat hospital food definitely not hmmm she pressed the button again my god what's going on this is ridiculous the mayor having to wait for god's sake she made sure this hospital had everything they needed to care for the people of this town. "im so sorry madam mayor we are rushed off our feet tonight what can I do for you" an older nurse asked "oh I'm sorry I'm just feeling weak and need some water my friend was supposed to come back did she happen to stop by while I was asleep I know her daughter is in this hospital too I do hope nothing happend to her?" "Oh yes Mary oh the poor dear last heard the nurses say..." then she stopped mid-sentence forgetting herself "oh I'm so sorry madam mayor I shouldn't be telling you this I don't mean to be insensitive or anything" looking away from the mayor sheepishly Regina wanted to know what happened how could she get the info out of this woman hmmm "well it may be insensitive yes dear but unprofessional too, to say the least, you could lose your job if your chief was to hear any of this" "oh no please madam mayor I'm so sorry I didn't mean any harm please I really need this job" Regina hated doing it but she needed answer "ok maybe I forget you being unprofessional and let you away with it" "oh thank you thank you I am still sorry I really didn't mean to..." (Marys POV) 

It's been over an hour how can they not be telling us what's going on it's not fair all this worry all these thoughts going through my head and my heart oh god, please don't let me lose her she held Davids' hand as tight as she could she needed to feel grounded she felt so hopeless she thought she was going to be fine once they got the bits of bullet out she needed to see her baby make sure she was ok she prayed and prayed for some sort of miracle to help her keep her daughter and for her to wake up and come home where she could keep her safe she always hated that Emma went away to the army she always feared she wouldn't come home or something might happen out there in whatever country she may be sent to but she couldn't stop her Emma made her mind up and that was that she was a quiet but stubborn girl but she was hers "Mr and Mrs Nolan" a doctor called her from her thoughts " yes that's us how is Emma ?is she ok?what happened?" "we have stabilized her she had a reaction to the blood we gave her we understand that Emma is a rare blood type?! And as we thought she is going to need a blood transfusion the shrapnel from the bullet has poisoned Emmas blood so we will need to get her treated as soon as possible "oh god no no no this can't be happening what do we do il do anything to save my baby girl can't you just get more blood I know it's rare but I'm sure somebody has it..." david said " look I'm so sorry but we haven't got enough to flush out the poison completely from Emma she is a rare blood type but either parent would be a match for her so if you would both like to be tested I can get the nurse to bring you as soon as..." (Regina's POV) 

Oh god no poor Mary and David but more so poor Emma all this because of her and ironically because she couldn't get that blonde out of her head she couldn't forgive herself for doing this to her best friend she knew she should have never gone to Boston she would have been fine never meeting Emma never kissing her laughing with her holding her and well everything else with her at that Regina blushed god what the hell did that girl do to her she was not like this she wasn't some little teenager that blushed over some girl she barely knew all because of a one night stand that turned out so wrong but felt so amazingly right all those soft touches and kisses hands tongues oh god stop Regina it was one night grow up just as she was about to lay back down and try to get the blonde goddess out of her head Mary came running in through the door "oh Mary honey what's wrong is it Emma come here shhh shhh" Mary threw her arms around her tears streaming down her face "come on Mary tell me what happened" "im I-m sssss orrry oh god this ccant bbbe happen-ing" "what Mary what can't be happening " "oh god I shouldn't say I really shouldn't say " "come on breath calm down have some water and tell me M I'm your best friend " she handed her the water and Mary took it sipping at the glass she looked out the window of the room the night seemed so quiet she wished she could just float away "Mary honey" Regina held her hand in a firm but gentle grip "oh sorry yeah I'm oh I don't know where to start" "take it easy and start where you like ok" she shook her head "no I can't I swore I wouldnt" "look you don't have to tell me but I think you need to tell someone and you know I won't tell a soul" "I know I trust you i know i can it's just been so long and she doesn't even know" Regina stayed silent what could it be?and who didn't know it must be to do with Emma " I i imnotemmasmother" Mary mumbles under her breath...........
