Rush's point of view
As I locked lips with Scarlett, it felt like I was on top of the world. It was the best feeling I have had in probably in years. The kiss lasted for a while before we finally broke off to catch our breaths.
I noticed Scarlet was avoiding my eyes with her head bent, and her face had turned red. I laughed because I knew she was feeling shy. I couldn't blame her because my heart was thumping really hard in my chest. I tilted her face up to look at me.
"Don't be shy; it's just the two of us," I said to her.
"I know it's just that this is the first time someone has ever kissed me," she said.
"So that means I am your first kiss?" I asked her.
