"I choose to be with Rush," Scarlett finally said.
A victorious smile appeared on my face as I glanced over to where Scarlett's supposed mate sat. Unlike me, he had an angry expression on his face.
"I won't accept this. You are supposed to choose me. I am your mate. We have been destined by the moon goddess to be together. Why would you choose someone who is not your mate over me?" Derek asked fuming.
