Unbelievable!!
How? How did he appear at the right time? How did he know I needed help?
I wanted to ask him a thousand questions and more but I was voiceless and stared at him helplessly until he looked away.
He held the cuffs on the bed and looked at me, probably wondering why I couldn’t break a mere steel cuff but he said nothing and easily broke the two cuffs at both sides. He lifted me up until I was standing on my feet and then to my surprise, he bent down and urged me to climb on his back.
If only I could muster the courage to speak up, I would have declined it but due to the shock from everything, I was speechless.
So I had no choice but to climb on his back.
