And how, how did he get past me like that?...

Without me even noticing?...

Hearing or seeing his movement?...

How did he slip past my highly trained and tuned ninja senses like that?...

Completely undetected?...

It was like he teleported…

..But I’m a REAL NINJA!!!

So skilled I was sent in alone to take out the notorious Flaming Skulls gang by myself single handedly.

A woman!

And even my eyes turned away when they first looked upon the c*****e of this horrific site, but he calmly walks through it without even as much as pinching his nose to escape the potent scent of death that floods the air around the hideout.

Maybe its because he said he was in the war, that horrible war 10 years ago?!

And maybe... maybe I was so distracted by his rudeness being so stupid.

Yeah that’s how he got ahead of me without me knowing!

Yeah haha that’s it! That has to be it, right?! I’m a highly trained ninja!

A Tracker Ninja at that! I’m at the top of the top ranking class! The highest ranked and skilled ninja division there is!

It was just a fluke! That’s all it was..

Right?

Of course that has to be it!

Or is he hiding something from me?

But how, how could he possibly hide something from me?

Surely this fisherman samurai isn’t more skilled than I.

That dagger in the fish was nothing, I just wanted to scare him grab his attention.

He has yet to see..

Kenshin- Hey Touka snap out of it would ya?!

Hurry up and do whatever it is you have to do here so we can leave.

Touka-Huh? UM... Right!

What is this your first time seeing dead bodies?

Well didn’t I tell you to stay back?

Well there’s one dead outside in the front, one dead in the doorway and the other two dead inside.

Kenshin- And?

Touka- And! Mr. Can’t handle dead bodies.

I happen to be A Tracker Ninja, so let the big dogs work!

You can go get some fresh air or something! I don’t want you getting sick and throwing up all over the crime scene!

Kenshin- I’m staying, so hurry it up!

Touka- Fine!

Then mumbles...

-Jerk!

..under her breath.

-Well its obvious killers or killer snuck up from behind ambushing our unlucky group of bandits catching them completely by surprise and slaying them as they tried to make there escape.

Now to figure out what kind of weapon or weapons were used to create the c*****e we see before us.

Sword play could have definitely taken place. But the blood and bodies indicate there must have been something heavy and razor sharp to cut through entire bodies like that in a single slice.

And our perpetrator must have been a huge muscle bound freak, fast and accurate.

So what do you think huh?

Told ya, I’m the real deal. Like I said high class Tracker Ninja!

Kenshin- Your wrong!

It was one person wielding a sword and he didn’t sneak. He came straight up the same trail we did and launched a full on frontal attack.

Touka- What? You're crazy!

Maybe, just maybe it could have been one killer. But a sword and just walking straight through the front lawn like he was going for a stroll.

This is a known hangout to the notorious Flaming Skulls gang. No one in there right mind would have...

..Maybe the scent of rotting blood is getting to your head!

I got what I need. Lets go! I can use some fresh air too.

Lets go set up camp and get a little rest ok?!

Tomorrow we head for there main base of operations and after that we go to the ringleader’s hideout. Well its more like his tomb now.

I’d love to hear what crazy ideas you come up with for these graveyards.

Kenshin- Yeah, whatever lets just go already. I’m starving!

Touka and Kenshin set up camp start a fire eat and sit by the fire.

Touka- Today was a long day, wasn’t it Kenshin? Kenshin?..

Kenshin’s eyes glare into the flames, as his mind goes to a memory.

It's dark he’s been on the move there’s blood on his clothes. But its not his blood.

His sword is drawn in his hand he’s moving quickly.

There is no moon.

His eyes catch the reflection of themselves on the blade of his sword. They are glowing white.

There’s a voice in the distance yelling. Kenshin begins to walk with haste and purpose. The voice yells out again.

-Hey! What the hell are you doing?!?

Hey are you deaf you stupid i***t?!

Hey dumbass this is property of the Flaming Skulls, so you better scram if you know what’s good for you!!!

Hey are you listening to me! Hey I’m talk...

(SWOOSH!)

In one slice his head and right arm go flying into the air. It rains blood as his body falls separating from the knee of his also severed right leg.

In one slice Kenshin slices cleanly through all three body parts.

The blood sprays all over him.

He smiles an evil smirk.

-YES! YES! MORE! MORE BODIES! I WANT MORE!

WERE GOING TO SLAY THEM ALL ISN'T THAT RIGHT KENSHIN?! WERE GOING TO MAKE THEM ALL SUFFER!

THERE ALL GOING TO DIE EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM! THERE GOING TO DIE ALL OF THEM TONIGHT!

THE SKIES ARE GONNA RAIN BLOOD!

I’M GONNA SLAY THEM ALL! THERE GOING TO DIE!

I WILL SLAY THEM JUST AS THEY SLAYED MY PRECIOUS SAYA!

Then Kenshin breaks into a full blown sprint.

-Hey! Hey Sanza! Somone is coming!

Hey who the hell are you?! Hey!

(SWOOSH!)

-AAAHHH!

The nerves of bandit flinch flickering like a dying light as his right arm and torso separate from his head and left part of his body. Hitting the ground and raining blood all over the entrance and Kenshin.

Kenshin licks the blood around his lips and smiles that wicked smile again.

The other two bandits quickly get to there feet.

(SLICE!)

(SWOOSH!)

The sound of a blade slicing through the air at immense speed then coming to a sudden halt.

Kenshin then swings his sword again to clean the blood from his blade and sheathes it.

As he starts walking back towards the entrance the two now standing bandits, there faces frozen in horror there eyes twitch there last movements ever.

Then one cut clean in half to the torso the front part slides off hitting the floor and in the very same instant the second bandit falls into pieces. Right arm, left leg and the front part of his head with the face all fall hitting the ground blood sprays raining all over the hideout.

Kenshin turns back up the trail once he exits and continues his way up it.

-YES YES ITS GONNA RAIN MORE MORE BLOOD ISNT THIS JUST LIKE THE OLD DAYS RIGHT KENSHIN!

Saya- Kenshin! Kenshin! Hey did you fall asleep?!

You jerk!

You said tonight was our night...

I hate your stupid job!

Kenshin wipes his eyes.

-I’m sorry Saya. I just needed that little nap. I’m all yours now, I promise!

Saya- Hmph!

Well good because I made plans for tonight.

Kenshin- Plans? What kind of plans Saya? Its already dark out.

Saya- Wow! So it has to be light outside for you to do anything with me?

I’ll remember that later!

You can try to be a little romantic sometimes you know! I was thinking we could go lay under the stars and just admire how they hang in the night sky! And if the stars aren’t out then…..

Touka- Hey Kenshin! The fish is ready!

Kenshin grabs the bigger of the two fish and devours it.

Touka- Hey that was mine! You jerk!

Next time I really will leave you sleeping.

Hmph.

Kenshin- Good! You ruined my dream!

Touka- Dream? Sorry Kenny, but there’s no way you were dreaming.

Not the way you was mumbling, not to mention how you jumped up.

Not with that look in your eyes.

Kenshin- My eyes? What about my eyes? What where they, what color where they?

Touka- What? The same color they... What is your problem?

I don’t know blue green gees!

She grabs her fish and begins to eat it.

-What’s your deal?!

Kenshin sighs.

-Just forget it, nothing it was nothing.

And dammit don’t call me Kenny, didn’t I tell you that already!

Touka- Ok, ok gees, jerk! KENSHIN, there you happy?

Kenshin thinks to himself.

"My dreams have become nightmares and they seem to be getting worse. Maybe its from being here again?"

Touka- Hey! You ate all the rice too?! Hmph!

She turns around pouting.

Kenshin- How can a small girl eat so much?

Touka- I’m a woman jerk! See these?

Grabbing her large breast with both her hands pushing them upwards.

Do little girls have these?

(SMACK!)

Touka- Ouch!

A rice ball hits her in the face.

Kenshin- Will you cut that out..

Touka- Ouch! What the...

She looks down and notices the rice ball in her lap and quickly devours it.

While still chewing

-Don’t think that gets you...

(GULP)

..don’t think that gets you off the hook! And what’s the matter, huh?

Another rice ball hits her in the face.

Touka- Hey!

Kenshin-OOH boy! No little girl that isn’t it!

Now eat so we can go! And no more perverted cries for attention!

Touka- Cries for attention? Why you!...

She shouts while wiping the rice away from her mouth.

..What makes you think I want attention from you?

I like manly men for your information. Someone who can at least try to protect me.

Not pretty fishermen boys like you. So keep dreaming, just so you know I wasn’t all that impressed!

Kenshin starts walking away sword in belt and his bag over his shoulder.

Touka- Hey are you even listening to me?!

Hey don’t leave me! YOU JERK!

Wait, wait I’m coming! Hey jerk!

Kenshin and Touka continue up the trail heading towards the Flaming Skulls base. The scent of death once again fills the air.

It's almost noon now.

As soon as they reach the outer perimeter they start running into the mutilated corpses. It’s a m******e!

Four bodies lay in the grass of the hillside. Bodies that have been sliced into pieces by a very sharp and powerful weapon.

The bodies appear to ravaged by decay and wild animals feasting on them.

The stinch is horrid its thick and fills the air.

As they continue up to the base the buzzards fly and perch on the roof of the base.

There is a lair of fog hovering just over the massacred decomposing bodies.

The buzzards watch as the two make there way up.

Touka realizes this isn’t a murder scene. No there are signs of a battle.

She also notices how the bodies are spread out. They were expecting there unwanted guest preparing for the intruder.

"They were warned, but how? By who? All of The Flaming Skulls were killed in a single night.

And from the looks of the previous scenes no one was able to escape there oncoming death.

No they where all slain right then and there. So how, who could have warned them?

The assailant hit each base with deadly accuracy. Not letting even a single one escape to warn the others about the oncoming danger.

The killer didn’t just kill his victims he butchered each one. So how? How did they? Or maybe?"

Kenshin- Hey Touka! Why so quite? You ok?

Touka- Huh? What?

Quite? I’m working here you i***t!

Kenshin looks down at one of the butchered bodies as they walk towards the base. And his eyes spring a dead memory back to life. Bringing him back into a moment. A moment of death.

Its dark there is no moon to be seen.

Something has tension in the air as The Flaming Skulls seem to be readying for battle.

Leader- I want four guarding the outskirts on the main trail.

And the rest stay here with me spread out in the base. Two stay at the entrance and I want Two guarding me outside my room.

Ya got that?

And make sure you have your swords daggers and bows! Be armed and prepared to lay your life down.

Who ever kills him will be a wealthy man! You will become a honored general of The Flaming Skulls!

How’s that for motivation?

The men yell out..

-AAARRHHH!

..As there fear turns into greed and desire. They grab there weapons and make there way to there post.

The four on the outskirts begin talking.

-We have the first chance. If we work together we can take him down and share in the wealth!

Bandit 2-Yeah! We can share the reward!

Bandit 3- Share the fame!

Bandit 4- SSHHH... Someone is coming!

Bandit 1- So its settled we work together bring him down and share the prize!

Bandits- Yeah!!!

Bandit 2- Everyone spread out. This is our chance he doesn’t know were expecting him.

Bandit 3- We hide and then ambush him all at...

Bandit 1- Get down and quite you idiots he’s here!

Out of the darkness a figure emerges. Like a moving shadow.

Bandit 2- There he is!

Bandit 3- What what he’s a it’s a DEMON! Look! Look at his eyes!

Bandit 4- Stand your ground you coward! Its just some trick! We still have the element of surprise!

The dark figure approaches and raises his sword as he does the reflection of those eerie white eyes reflect of his blade.

Bandit 4- Now!!!!

The four all jump out at once wielding there weapons attacking from all sides all at once.

(SWOOSH! SLICE! SWOOSH!)

Kenshin swings his sword effortlessly and faster than the human eye can see..

(SSSPPPHHHH!)

Body parts fly and once again blood fills the night sky as it rains down onto Kenshin. All at once in an instant he slayed all four of the would attackers with little to no effort.

Then he continues up the trail.

Bandit 5- Hey, someone is coming!

Bandit 6- We can’t let him get past us.

Bandit 5- What... What happened to the guys down there?

Bandit 6- It doesn’t maaaaa...

(SWOOSH!)

His head sliced in half all the way down to his right shoulder slides off spraying blood from the lifeless body still standing.

Before it can fall the other bandit is pierced through his chest, then as he looks down to see the sword impaling him the blade turns and slices him in half down to the groin.

Its raining blood all over the night sky. Kenshin smiles and he sniffs the air.

-THE REST OF THEM ARE JUST UP AHEAD!

He begins to laugh, then takes off running straight toward the base.

Bandit 7- Finishes placing table and chairs in front of the door to brace it. There! No one is getting through that!

One of the other bandits looks through the peep hole.

-Hey! Where are the two guys that were just standing there?

Bandit 8- What? Its dark maybe there just hiding? What do you see?

Hey i***t what do you see this is no time too?

WHAT! SCCHHHH... SSSCHHH...

As Kenshin runs toward the door he notices someone looking through the window. He moves faster then any human can.

And in an instant he’s standing in front of the door with his sword piercing through the window into the skull of the bandit. Killing him.

Then pulling his sword back out. The dead bandit falls, the others begin to panic.

Kenshin kicks through the door, chairs, table and all with one powerful kick. The table lands on one of the bandits crushing his legs and pinning him under it.

Kenshin steps onto the table.

-AAAAAAHHH!..

the Bandit screams,

-Your crushing me, please! Please! The pain! Just kill me.. AAAHH!

Kenshin removes his foot off the table and looks down at the bandit with his glowing white eyes. He takes his sword and while smiling points it at the face of the dying bandit.

The bandit cries out...

-What! No, no don’t kill me! What what are you? Your eyes what... please don’t kill me!

Kenshin slowly brings his blade until it touches the bandits crying mouth.

He begins to giggle. And slowly pierces his sword through the bandits mouth until it hit the wooden floor. A painful and cruel execution even for a criminal.

Kenshin gets up still laughing and looks to the other three bandits.

Touka- Hey! Hey Kenshin, don’t space out on me!

Kenshin shakes his head and clears his thoughts. Suddenly he realizes they not alone.

Touka- Kenshin were not alone!

Kenshin thinks to himself "No we're not! Dammit! How didn't I notice?"

Touka- Up there... By the base!

Kenshin- Lets go! Hurry up Touka!

Touka- Right!

The unknown person flees. Kenshin and Touka are now in pursuit.

Touka realizes there heading towards the Leader of The Flaming Skulls hideaway.

"It’s a trap!" - she thinks to herself - "Maybe an ambush, but how no one even knows she is here!

So how?!".

They get to the Leaders base the fleeing suspect vanishes.

Kenshin and Touka make their way into the base…. Inside its another site of c*****e, blood, bodies..

Kenshin- Touka were not alone!

Touka- No, we're not! And it appears there are quite a few of them!

But I don’t get it, how wasn’t I able to sense them until now? Its like they can somehow mask there presence!

Kenshin- It means they aren’t human Touka!

Touka- Not human? What do you mean not human? Like animals? Animals set up an ambush for us?

Kenshin- Touka you need to focus, prepare for battle! You are a strong skilled ninja right?

Touka- What? Yeah, of course!

Kenshin looks at her and smiles.

-Good I will be relying on your skills,

he tells her,

Touka, there are things you don’t... things most people don’t know about...

Touka- What? What things? Just who are you Kenshin? And why are you speaking in riddles, your not making..

Kenshin- Touka! READY YOURSELF! And whatever you do don’t lose your focus stay razor sharp! You cant panic understood?

Touka- Panic? What? What has gotten into you all of a sudden?

Out of the dark someone emerges, laughing walking slowly.

-HAAHAAA! SO yes its you! Ha! I can smell you, your blood. Ha! What luck!

-Touka, you must aim to kill! Do you got that?

Kenshin shouts out,

Everyone of your attacks must be killshots!

Touka looks at Kenshin and sees the serious expression on his face, almost like he’s afraid. No its not fear. Kenshin suddenly has the cold calculating look of a stone cold killer.

-HAAA HAAAA!

The pale lanky person comes into view. He’s ugly, like a monster. And in his right hand he’s holding a hideous looking weapon. It’s a weapon of death.

But he HE is much more hideous. His eyes cold and beady like a shark. His face with that huge smile revealing shark like teeth. His long boney fingers clutching that scythe, that horrible looking weapon.

He doesn’t look human. In fact he looks like death itself.

Suddenly other figures appear to emerge out of the shadows.

Ninja, they are ninja!

But their mask... their mask are different than the ones Touka is used to seeing.

These mask all designed with different looking mouths. Some with human teeth and others with animal teeth designs on them. But all of them have zippers, zippers that open and expose there mouths.

"How unusual!", she thinks,

"But that doesn’t matter right now! What matters is they walked right into an unknown enemies trap".

Touka looks at her surroundings. Its full of bodies, dead bodies half eaten by some large wild animal. But there’s room to fight. She begins calculating her battle strategy…

-AAAHHH! SOOOO!, Scythe says aloud,

-SOO YOU ARE THE UCHIHA! YES I CAN SMELL IT IN YOUR BLOOD! A REAL LIVE UCHIHA! BUT HOW DISAPPOINTING! YOUR EYES...

Your eyes there ordinary, he frowns, Your nothing... nothing special and to think I came all this way. Well boys looks like you get to play after all. Your just a human with a flashy name, a regular samurai. Try to at least entertain me.

Touka- What? What is he talking about? What’s an Uchiha? Who are they talking about? Kenshin? No it can’t be he’s just a fisherman.

Then all at once 5 ninja spring into action out of the shadows in an all out attack.

Kenshin grabs his sword.

THUD THUD THUD THUD THUD!

In a flash like lightning Touka takes to the air throwing 5 daggers with pin point accuracy, hitting all 5 ninja.

She lands at the same time all 5 bodies hit the ground.

She raises her head and grins looking towards Scythe.

Suddenly the 5 ninja get back up and lunge at her.

She is taken by surprise.

Oh no she thinks, I’m not gonn..

SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH.

The ninja fall out of the sky above her into pieces, raining there blood.

What, what just happened she thinks to herself.

She looks over at Kenshin, he’s sheathing his sword.

But he never moved and he’s way over.

All of a sudden two more ninja emerge from the shadows on the ceiling. Jumping into attack her.

Kenshin unsheathes his sword and blinding speed swings his blade creating slicing blades of air, of wind cutting the ninja in half.

Touka- What? What did you just do? What was that technique you used just now? And the ninja how do they hide in the shadows like that? Why can’t I sense there life force? Just who are you? And what is Uchiha?

Scythe- Begins clapping his hands. SPLENDID!

He then shrugs off his cloak and stands tall, taller way taller than any human. He must be 12ft Tall.

Touka can’t believe what her eyes are seeing. His wide grin becomes wider unnaturally wider. He could swallow a whole body it looks like.

Touka- Wh... What the hell is going on?

(SCCHH)

Blood hits her face. "But who’s blood? Is it hers? What happened? and Something fast too fast". She gathers her composure.

Kenshin is in front of her.

"But how? What how are?"

(Drip Drip)

More blood hits her face. "Its his blood!", she looks frantically suddenly realizes Scythe is also right there right in front of her and Kenshin.

Then she notices the sight sticking into Kenshin’s left forearm as he's shielding her.

Touka- KEN! KENSHIN! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?

Scythe- OHH HOW SWEET PROTECTING THEGIRL! BUT A COSTLY!!! SCCHHH!

Kenshin’s sword pierces right through the chest of Scythe, barely missing his heart..

-AAHH!

Scythe screams while pulling his scythe out and jumping back.

Scythe- That hurt THAT REALLY HURT!

Touka thinks to herself "What, HE’S NOT DEAD?! ITS LIKE HE’S NOT EVEN HURT! And how the hell did he jump that far? What the hell is going on here?"

Scythe reaches down and grabs one of the severed arms of his ninja companion’s. He then opens his wide mouth and swallows the arm, the hole in his chest begins to close and the bleeding stops.

Touka realizes the stinch of his blood. Its rotting and smells worse then the decomposing corpses.

-What!, She cries out.

Kenshin- He’s a Demi-demon. A man that’s no longer man anymore. He feeds on men to gain power and to live prolonged lives. He serves The Demons feeding on his own kind. He’s the worse kind of scum there is.

Touka- Demi-demon, Demons? What the hell is going on here?

Kenshin-Touka the reason you can’t sense there life force is because there no longer living or dead. No these miserable souls are stuck somewhere in the middle. They don’t belong anywhere.

Touka- What? Do you expect me to believe that?

-AAHHH!

The demi-demon starts swinging his scythe then jumps clearing a large area in a single bound.

Touka looks but not believing, even though it is happening right there before her eyes.

She thinks, "What the hell is going on? I am a highly trained ninja my abilities far exceed any normal human. But this, this stuff is insane! It isn’t possible, maybe the scent of rotting bodies has clouded my head? Yeah that’s it.!"

Kenshin stands up,

-Get ready Touka he’s coming.

Kenshin is still bleeding.

Touka- Your injured!

Kenshin grabs his sword with both hands and yells out while springing forward,

-I’m fine worry about yourself. There can still be others hiding in the shadows.

(CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!)

Touka is once again in shock from what she is seeing. They are moving, moving so fast her highly trained eyes and senses can hardly keep up with them. The sound of metal on metal fills the air as the two battle at unimaginable speeds. A ninja emerges from the shadow behind Touka..

-AAHH! She yell’s out.

Kenshin and Scythe clash weapons then separate.

Scyhte- UCHIHA WE HAVE THE GIRL! BOSS WANT’S YOU ALIVE. COME WITH US OR SHE DIES HERE AND NOW!

Touka- Kenshin!,

Kenshin doesn’t move.

All of a sudden in front of Touka, Kenshin’s eyes seem to catch fire bursting into white flame. And the air around him begins to give off flashes of electricity and the sound of a large flock of birds chirping pierces the air.

The ground beneath him begins peeling from the surface an floating into the air then disintegrating by some unknown power. His veins and muscles seem to suddenly grow in size and its like he’s on fire. Standing in the middle of an invisible raging flame. Then in an instant he’s gone.

Suddenly the bandits arm that was around Touka vanishes.

-AAAHHH.

Blood rains out so much blood the ninja jumps away screaming. Suddenly Kenshin appears beside Touka. He looks down at her with those glowing white eyes.

Touka is frightened. She is afraid more afraid then she has ever been.

Kenshin- TOUKA ARE YOU ALRIGHT?

Touka- What, what! Stay back!

-AAAAAHHHH!

The screams of death pierce the air.

Kenshin steps forward,

-TOUKA DON’T MOVE! STAY HERE!

Touka looks up to the horrific sight of Scythe eating his ninja comrade alive. He suddenly grows larger, a lot larger and his angry eyes are now glowing blood red.

-NOW UCHIHA ITS YOUR TURN. YOUR BLOOD WILL MAKE ME STRONGER THAT’S WHY THE MASTER WANTS…

(SWOOSH!)

In an instant his arm holding the Scythe disappears.

Scyhte- What the hell? Where did my scythe... Wait, my arm, where the hell is my ARM?! MY ARM!

(THUD! CLANK! CLANK! SPPPHHH!)

The sound of his arm followed by his scythe hitting the ground the the rain of blood from his severed arm.

-YOU STUPID FOOLLL!!!

Suddenly the Scythe takes on this demonic appearance making his earlier form look like a puppy. An evil aura begins to surround him as he grows.

Scythe- NOW YOU DIE YOU STUPID UCHIHA SCCUMMM... ughh, aghh.

Kenshin suddenly appears beside Scythe. He swings the blood off of his katana and sheathes it. And at that very same instant the Demi-demons face, the entire front part pf his head slides off the back side hitting the ground and the demons blood rains out and soon after his body falls lifelessly to the ground.

Kenshin once again vanishes this time he reappears before Touka.

His eyes begin flickering until fading back to normal.

-Touka, he says, Are you hurt?

Touka- What? What? I’m fine! But what the hell?!

Kenshin- That’s good Saya, I’m glad I was able to protect you this time.

Then he falls forward.
