Will is ultimately one's power of choice. Our will is what makes us who we are as people. In Life One's decisions define who we are as a person. Our past makes us who we are in the present. Therefore our life choices are a reflection of who we become. We cannot change the past and our mind naturally records our past beliefs. No matter how hard we try to retrain our train of thought it's merely impossible to forget our past. although we can learn from the past mistakes we make the subconscious maintains a memory of these decisions and ultimately devours the innocence one needs to change the train of thought desired. Once a person steals something the mind records the action and even though they no longer steal they still know they are capable of stealing therefore the guilt never leaves the thief. Once a thief is always a thief therefore will is the absolute reflection of whom we become as people.
Ultimately in order to conquer good will values must be instilled in a person as children. Along with morals, values can help pave the way to a good life. Having Morals and Values comes at its own cost just like not having morals and values can. Why? Because the word values is self explanatory as the word value means it has a cost. Just as much as having no values comes at a cost. A person of Values must at a cost force themselves to study hard or persevere at work or school And, a person of no values can pay the price of homelessness, jail terms, and loss of respect by loved ones. Therefore it is in our benefit to practice these values to avoid unwanted pitfalls in life.
We all have will whether it be good will or self will. Good will consist of specific values that ascertain to having a life of value to yourself and others and, self will can ultimately run wild and lead to negative consequences that's why why there are authority figures in one's life to plant positive seeds in one's mind but at the end of the day it's up to the person to let those seeds grow.
