Chapter Twenty-One
Libby gulped nervously as she knotted her hair. Nadine helped her to put on her chef hat. In the next one hundred and twenty minutes, Nadine and she had to create classic Danish pastries and a Japanese cotton cheesecake. Fortunately, they were allowed to bring ready-to-use pastry dough, otherwise, they’d be doomed. The Danish pastry wasn’t yet her biggest problem. Libby began to doubt that it was a smart idea to make a Japanese cotton cheesecake. Yesterday, the two girls tried to make it and it was a big success. Yet, they didn’t know how long would they be allowed to cook in the competition. “It was nearly two and half hours yesterday,” said Nadine calculating the time yesterday. “But it was because Toby was explaining everything to us as well.
