Becca's POV "You're not my mate, Babe!" I'm sure my tone of voice is quite high now. I'm feeling extremely panicked. It feels like this is the worst day of my life. "Calm down, Becca! You'll surely find your mate." "Oh, that's something I need to calm down about? Don't you get it, Cheva? Andrew is not my mate!" Cheva, my wolf, really can't see the situation unfolding right now. Even Andrew can't react to this reality. "How can we not be mates, Babe?" Andrew asks. "I don't know, Babe. What I'm seeing right now can't possibly be wrong. I've been waiting for my mate since midnight, and when you arrived, I didn't feel you as my mate at all. It's terrifying! Who is my mate?!" "Take it easy, Babe. My tears keep flowing; I wish I could tell my parents about this. But they would accept it all; for them, the fate given by the Moon Goddess is never wrong. "Babe, what's going on?" I get up from the bed and hug Andrew, who has arrived. "You're not my mate because I have found out that my mate is an omega!" "What? Who is he?" I wipe my tears and pull Andrew to meet the omega. Luckily, he hasn't moved and is still cleaning the stairs. "He's my mate." The omega stops his activity and lowers his gaze. I glance at Andrew, he looks calm as if nothing bad has happened. "What's your name?" Andrew asks. "I'm Steven, Alpha Andrew." "Since when do you know that Becca is your mate?" "Three months ago." Somehow, I feel annoyed. I mean, he should have come to me and told me about all of this. "Okay, Steven, I'm rejecting you as my mate." Andrew looks at me and smiles, he hugs me warmly. Yes, I can't accept Steven. Rejecting him is the only way to get out of all this. We then leave Steven without saying anything more. I feel a bit relieved now, although I'm still worried that after this, the Moon Goddess might give me a mate other than Andrew. "Babe, are you sure about your decision?" "Of course, Andrew. I only want you as my mate. No one else can replace you. What you're seeing now is proof of how strong my love for you is. Do you want me to be with an omega?" Andrew hugs me and gently pinches my cheek. "Only crazy people would want to let go of a diamond like you." "So, what will you do next?" I release the hug, waiting for Andrew's reaction and action regarding our mate. "I will do the same as you, reject my mate. In two months, we will officially become mates. I can't wait to mark you, Babe." A satisfying answer. I smile widely and hug Andrew again. My restlessness and annoyance fade away a bit now. "I love you, Babe. Promise me you'll never leave me." "Yes, Becca. You and I will be together forever." Andrew kisses my lips gently, one of my favorite actions from him. I can't imagine if it were Steven kissing me. Argh! Just thinking about it is a mistake and a nightmare.
