Not Deceived

Travis This was one hell of a first day for my little witch. Over anything, anything at all. This was the one f*****g thing I would ever predict would happen. This was a shameful act of war. Our kind heavily frowns on this. However, I guess I shouldn’t be too surprise at the try these idiots did. I shouldn’t of even been surprise when Elizabeth only reacted just as a Luna the second it all happen either. “She’s a f*****g warrior queen.” Malcolm jumps to paws. His tail wagging proudly. I nod in agreement. I don’t know why I tried to hold her back. I know she’ll win that argument every God damn time. But I guess it’s more on me. I fear that in these events. If she flees too far from my reach. All I have to know such news is the bond. I pray to Moon Goddess I don’t get that one awful news. I can’t lose her. Not now. Not decades later. Not ever. She is the soul propose of my living. Even before I knew it. It all only made sense once she enter my life. Without Elizabeth. There’s nothing. “We got the clear from the others, Alpha.” My gaze search the woods. My human snout sniff for any rotten mutts. “Go around again with clear ears and snouts.” I ordered. They headed off and do as I say. There was so much ground and bodies to retrieve. Countless heads to obtain and many more to suspect this kind of break. And a hell of paper work and more I’ll have to do at the end of the day. Fuck sometimes I wish someone else can do this but no one else will do it my way or even close. And I can’t bare to leave my title without knowing my mate will not resent me. She will always push me more, she hates the talk of me leaving it all for whatever selfish reason. In that, I love her more. We created such a world. And now I finally get why she pushed. I’ll resent myself too for leaving without trying first. Or even giving up at the start of one fright. I sent off more orders after orders. I clear my area and as my Beta and Gamma continue their duties. I try once more to link my Luna. She went silent after a flare. I don’t know what it was but she wasn’t answering anyones calls. Not until Gamma said she’d just spoken to her. I drop the link and try to sniff her out. After some time I finally made it back to where I’d last saw her. The lake. “She seem far.” Malcolm whined. She did seem a bit far. Not like she was deep in the lake. But more like she was too deep in her head. It wasn’t a bond thing. It was more of a husband thing. I can just tell. The way she floated over the water and made the smallest moves. Even with just her side profile I can see the dip of her lips. And each time she sank herself in. The water kept her under more. I watch until I worry she will turn into a sea monster. I step more towards the water. Just near the edge. She knew I was there but she wasn’t ready to decent until now. But once she last sank her body created a wave that curves towards me. Her head submerged up and her eyes looked pass me. I still myself as I await for her to make her own move. Elizabeth walked out the water and step mere inches from me. My eyes didn’t drop from her’s once. And as she strive up her eyes click. I see she was calculating things in her head. And the pull within me was telling me she was balling something. I grab the towel that was once on the ground. I open it wide and wrapped it over her. She clips it shut with her hand. “What happen? Where’s your dress?” “I asked Sarah to clean it. It was full of blood and I needed to clean the smell off of me. She met me here with a towel. She’ll be back soon. No one will know.” I follow her tone. And listen to her words. Her body stiff as she spoke and kept a light grin. I question what she meant but I’m foolish to not know already. I came from the side she ran off. I rounded around. I saw the trail of bodies we didn’t get to yet. They had her scent and the blood rot an odd smell. My hand reach out to her. She sighs to the touch as if it has been forever. I search for wounds and aches. She flinch to a small pink mark and I growl to the thought of someone harming her. “I’m fine, boys. I’m alive. And so are you.” There was a crack when she spoke. “She’s not fine.” And we know it. Her eyes reveals it all. Despite the bond. It always shows in her eyes. “Elizabeth.” I said so caution. “You can stop and breathe for a moment. It’s okay.” She tilted her head. Her stubbornness swell hard. Like it her first of it all. She was trying to tough it out but for who? Her beautiful lips part but no words came out. Just a soft gasp. I reach up to cup her cheek. Sending just the right love for her to restrengthen herself. To regain it all. To rebalance herself from whatever it was that tilt her over. She closes her eyes the second my hand touch her skin. A pin hit me and I try to push so I can speak. “We know you’re no damsel. But you are also our heart. Pure ambition to live on and thrive as we need.” She sob quietly as she fought those tears she held for so long. “So breathe. Before heading back. Breathe, Little Witch. My wife. My mate and heart. Breathe.” Right when she took her first breath, I did too. I didn’t know I was holding back but I guess I was. Since she flee from my side I held on until I had her again. Her chest began to move and those tears slid down her face. I wrapped myself over her when she gave up and fell into me. Elizabeth takes in my scent and I kiss her head ever so gentle. My heart beat normal as it matches hers. Her head pops up that moment. And then those green eyes of hers met my brown ones. The same eyes that started of it all. The second hers caught mine that day. It was everything and more. It was mine.. our burning desire. “Home. You boys are my home.” She spoke so elegant. “Good, baby. Very good.” That was all we ever wanted. To be her home. Because, Elizabeth was ours. I believed that is all anyone can ever asked for, HOME. It’s such a rare achievement that many people in life never accomplish. So hearing this gave Malcolm and I the purest achievement that I didn’t think I get reach until now. And I will never let that go. Never. Seconds hit and Gamma return with Elizabeth’s things. She redress and she spoke of what happen. Malcolm and I recenter her to where she needed. But even then, our little witch will always be near an edge. A dark cave that attracts her. And Malcolm and I both know it is just her healing from many, many things. “We’ll help her on the way.” “We are just the same, Malcolm.” As I have my own dark cave. We talked and as we check her once more. She tugs into my shirt. Her jaw itches side to side. And I had to hold her skull tight. “Say it baby. Whatever it is in that brain of yours. Say it.” “I love you, boys, so much. Please know that. Over everything evil. Know I love you. I don’t think I made it through all this pain and death crap if I didn’t have you to return to.” Ah f**k, this witch had me just like the sick pup I thought she would make me. I was drowning in her love. And f**k it was pleasurable. It’ll be a happy death. “I love you. Malcolm and I. We love you so f*****g much.” I ended the drill in a kiss. She held on to enlighten it in such a way. I fallen in love with her all over again. We headed back to connect with everyone. I set the Deltas over shift. And Elizabeth did the same with the Degrees. We make a plan in what’s to be done. And a list of hits. We got everything sorted when we were told our guests were still here. We stated for them to leave once it’s clear. We announced that the reception was cancelled. Thought it’ll be best to have all guests go home for their safety. “Sorry, baby. We can reschedule if you want.” You couldn’t see it in her eyes or body. But I felt it. She wanted to celebrate still. But she will never put herself before others. Unlike me. She is above everyone in my mind. I hate how this day has fallen. I should of thought things out more. Especially when I had been receiving these emails. It had to be them who got in. Elizabeth shakes her head. “It’s fine. There’ll be other gatherings.” True but not the point. “We’ll..I will make it up to you. I promise.” I clutch my fist over my heart and she catches it. “Stop adding more promises. They’ll get hard to fulfill.” I clamp onto her hand. Stare deeply into her eyes with a manic look. “Oh, baby, I can be hard and willing to fulfill endless.” She blushes hard before nudging us to more of our work. But f**k. I can never get enough of receiving a reaction out of her. And she is just the same. After it all. One thing was left needed. “Who the f**k helped these assholes get in?” We’d lined up everyone who is in suspicion in any type of way. And all their faces right now doesn’t help when all I wanted is to kill each and every one of them. Fuck who did it. If I sense no loyalty. They have no right to breathe after everything I had given them over the years. I did that. Not this asshole who ruined such day. This was suppose to be Elizabeth most gracious day and someone tried to intervene. You are hunted down out of the great disrespect. You do not come on the title of Luna or Alpha during such event. Your head will be mark for a stick killing. You can ran up and say whatever at a wedding. Talk s**t at our meetings. But to attack and try to harm or stop my wife from becoming Luna! Now you’re dead. We had about 20 men and women before us. All from different sectors. Elizabeth and I take opposite places. She stood behind each person while I stood in front. I take a glimpse down the trail. And started from one end. “This will go by quick. And if you lie, well I’ll find out and you know how that ends.” I make a stop at the first person. Twisting my lips to sniff any rottenness. “Anyone want to come clean? Last change!” I waited for any voice to break. Not a single one did. “Let’s kill this weak traitor.” Malcolm angrily snarls. I begin my walk. I pause at each one. Each man or woman met my eyes and responded with, “Not I, Alpha.” Each one had a tale but one will stick out. I go down the row until I reach the last one. I was very disappoint as much as annoyed that someone lied. But my beautiful Luna was able to sense the liar from his or her heart beat. And well I already had my traitor’s death in my head now that I know there’s a face. At least their faces. Elizabeth walks around and takes my side. She whispers in my ears the names of two wolves. My eyes wonder but did not stop. I nod once and ran my hand down her back. “You folks are my family. I gave you more than what you can ask. The outside can say I’m evil and even my family sees me as one too. But only my family knows the reason behind my evil since I keep your life in my paws.” I step close and raise a semi furry paw with claws. My mate smiles giddy but what I adore most was the widen eyes with fear. That was f*****g glorious. “If you do not see this in that way. Then you are not family and you do not belong here. You polluted the pack and I won’t have that.” My voice slowly begin to harsh out words. My desire for the traitors lives was gaining. I talk and walk half way down and met with a Delta near the end. He wasn’t a Delta for long but still. I gave him that position. I nodes down the wolf and met his eyes again. And this time I can hear that pathetic traitor’s heart speed at my presents. “Fast or Slow?” “Hm, what?” He muttered. “Don’t question your Alpha! Fast or slow! Pick! Now!” I got into his face and bare my teeth. Waiting for the i***t to speak. “PICK!” “Fast!” He shouted in precious fear. I move my present back. Patting his cheek hard. “Well choice.” I grinned to the wolf. I turn to met my Elizabeth who stand before a woman. Two warriors stand guard. I nod once and in seconds Elizabeth plunges her hand into the woman’s chest and tears her heart out her chest. The man screams in agony as his mate falls to the ground. “Nnnoo!!” I had two warriors hold him back. Not giving him a chance to flee or retaliate. As he screams in the worst pain any mate can face. He had now face his maker. Him and his b***h of a mate betrayed me. And it will not go unnoticed. My animalistic hands grip his throat deathly. “Tell me how this went about.” “I’m sorry I betrayed you, it was for good, I swear.” Elizabeth laugh. “Good got your wife dead.” She makes her way away from the woman and towards me as she splattered blood off her hand. I look back and waited for the man to talk. As his LUNA spoke to him directly. “She sought me out, Alpha.” He babble and cried to me. “I refused but then she made an offer my mate accepted. I did what seem right. I’m sorry but it was for safety. Our future pups needed a safe home and such Luna will bring just blood. My mate didn’t want to bring a pup in a blood war in the hands of a hybrid. It was better that-” His pathetic excuse brought my eager need to kill more. My hand tighten harder. My own claws dig into his neck and small drips of blood began to ran down. “So you refused and blame your mate when you went along willing regardless of what will happen. You rot. You two polluted your oath.” He thrashes in my grip and I loosen so he can speak once more. “She was good.” He gasp for breath as he begins to talk. “And the world should too. She was pregnant. My family-” “I am your family! We are your family and you sold us for nothing. Syline was never gonna give you what you wanted.” Saying the name of the harlot herself made the male wolf shake. It only proved I was right. I mean she was the only one that made sense to be sending such threats to me. And for an attack on Elizabeth’s ceremony. It only smelled as if it was Syline’s work. It was the scent I kept smelling through out the woods. I just needed this rotten wolf to admit. And he just f*****g did. I smile proudly to the acknowledgment. “I was just suppose to make sure they got in. And she left without... I didn’t think I was.. we were.. I’m sorry, Luna. I’m sorry.” He sworn in his apology. His eyes left mine and he search for the Luna he betrayed for some fake asylum. Elizabeth grabs my arm to remove from the wolf’s throat. She takes my place in front of the rotten wolf. I signal the warriors to watch. As did I. If he tries anything I’ll cut his tongue out. His weaken gaze at my mate enrages me. His near scent close to my Luna was pushing it too. But I trust her and watch as she handles the rotten apple in our crop. “Regardless of your task. We were not deceived. Your mate faked a pregnancy. To gain your lost. She lied and you foolishly betrayed your family. Now look where you are at.” Elizabeth takes one step back when he grips for her, begging for life. Asking for his mate back. She takes his hand tightly. “Don’t, Luna, please. I know you are stronger. Bring her back to me. I give you my life. Don’t kill me. I surrender to you. We surrender. Please.” She looks him up with such soft eyes. Her hand oddly now full. “Oh dear, wolf. I will not kill. But treasure this.” She places something wet and large in his hand. When he looks at the item he screams and drops the heart of his mate. “No, no, no. She made a mistake. It was a mistake.” He kept blaming his wife. Like he had no part or even as if he tried to stop her. “He is just a cursed wolf that needed to be put down.” Malcolm chuckles violently and I agree. Elizabeth steps back and I regain my spot. This wolf can not be trusted. He was just a low Delta and his wife was an trash Omega. “You came to take my wife down and pose as her loyal wolf. Brought your love and got her kill for it. You thought I didn’t know. I had my eyes on you so don’t think you succeed in any way.” He had shifted eyes at all time. Nothing seem right about him. The wolf’s eyes widen in shock. His plead was silent. “Alpha, I can do better. Pleas-” My claws extend out as my hand winded up and cut through his throat. Silencing him right away. He tries to stop the bleeding but was not successful. His eyes kept still as I watch the life of the traitor, rotten wolf drown in his own blood. I look up and see everyone in horror faces. I click my tongue to order for the bodies to be dispose. I wipe my hand down to clean the blood off. Both his mate and him had rotten blood. Even if it didn’t smell rotten. I’ll still feed my Luna her traitors blood to fuel her gratitude. It’s the least they can do for their Luna. “Alpha?” My head turn as my Luna grabs my arm for herself. I wonder if her eyes will look different from seeing me in such way. But she didn’t. And I didn’t when she claim her own traitor’s life. I allow my Luna to entwine herself over my arm. I kiss her cheek as my bloody hand touch her chin. I take my tongue softly to clean the blood of Goddess skin. As I pull back her cheeks blush a bright pink. It made me happy to see after such act my little witch is still weak at the knees for me. And only I can bring her like that. “Shall we greet the guests goodbye?” Elizabeth matches our smile. I even saw that little glowing star in her green eyes. That one star meant it all to me. “Yes, my Alpha.” We make our way and as I we get in position for our guests to leave. We were inform that they all had requested a stay. “What? Why?” Elizabeth questioned in wonders. “They all say they have trust in your hands over their lives. If it’s okay with you. And you are up to the movement. The guests will love to join you in the celebration of the Ceremony.” A Delta tells us. Elizabeth was shock but I couldn’t be more happier. I know she’s questioning so many things in her brain right now. So I kiss my Luna’s cheek to bring her out if it. “You did good, Luna. It’s your call.” She question and I knew right away by her look what her answer will be. Her loyalty was repaid. She done so much in so little time and all these people couldn’t turn their backs even when she demanded them to. They all stayed and kneel before her. They f*****g kneel.
