Hybrid's Twin Mates

Birthday surprise

            A few months later..... 

            (Cyrena Pov) 

      I woke up before my mates and crawled out of the bed, careful not to wake them up. I looked at them with a smile, they look so handsome even while asleep. I quietly left our bedroom and went to Ruby's room to wake her up. I bent down by her bed and gently shook her, she slowly opened her eyes and looked at me. I smiled down at her and said, "Wake up sweetheart, it's time." She smiled back at me before throwing the blankets off and jumping out of bed. I went to her closet and pulled out the new shirt I got Ruby, that I hid in the back of her closet. I also grabbed her a pair of jeans, underwear, socks and shoes, then I quickly helped her to get dressed before we quietly went downstairs to the kitchen. When we got to the kitchen I grabbed Ruby's apron for when she helps me cook and tied it on her. I grabbed my own apron and put it on before Ruby and I started to make breakfast for the birthday boys. We made blueberry waffles, eggs, bacon and a fruit salad. By the time we finished cooking and had set the table we heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Zayne and Zander came into the kitchen and Ruby and I screamed, "Happy Birthday!" They smiled at us and walked over to where we were standing, they each hugged Ruby before they grabbed me and took turns passionately kissing me. The three of us laughed when Ruby scrunched up her face and said, "Eww that's gross." In reaction to seeing us kiss. 

     We all sat down at the table to eat, Zayne took a bite of his food and said, "Delicious as always ladies." Zander nodded his head in agreement and said, "Best birthday breakfast a guy could ask for." Ruby sat up straighter in her chair with a smile while I just watched my amazing little family and my heart filled with joy. We ate our breakfast over small talk, when we finished eating I stood up and said, "You guys stay here, it's time for presents." I went to the hall closet and got the presents I hid in a bag behind our coats, I went back into the dinning room and handed my mate's their presents. "Now you have to open them at the same time." I went over to stand by Ruby and we watched them open their presents at the same time like I instructed. When they had their presents open and saw what it was they looked over at me in shock, I nodded at them before I untied Ruby's apron and revealed her new pink shirt that said, Best big sister in bold letters. In case you were wondering Zayne's present was a black t-shirt that said, I'm gonna be a dad, Again! in white lettering. Zander's present was a white t-shirt that said the same thing but in black lettering. It took a few seconds for it to sink in, but when it did their faces lit up and they ran over to me and pulled me into their arms for a group  hug. Zander kissed the top of my head and said, "Thank you my love, this is the best present I have ever received." Zayne kissed my neck and said, "You have made this the best birthday ever." We broke the hug and Zander picked Ruby up and spun her around while saying, "And Ruby is going to be an amazing big sister." Zayne walked over to them and placed a kiss on Ruby's cheek before saying, "I agree." 

    I decided because it was their birthday I would clean up by myself, they of course tried to fight me on that but I insisted. Once they saw that I wasn't gonna back down they went up stairs to put their new shirts on. I sent Ruby into the living room to watch cartoons then I got to work cleaning up and surprisingly it didn't take as long as I thought it was going to take. When I was finished I walked into the living room and saw my two mates watching cartoons with our daughter, I smiled before going up stairs to change into the new shirt I had bought for myself. It was a light blue shirt with a cartoon baby on it with blue lettering that said, Baby on board. Then I went back down stairs to join my family in the living room, My handsome mates looked up at me when I came in and smiled when they noticed my shirt. I sat on the couch in between my mates like I normally do and snuggled into them. 

        (Zander Pov)

     I woke up and stretched expecting to see our mate in bed with us, but I looked down to find her spot in our bed empty. Zayne was still asleep so I shook him to wake him up, he sat up in the bed and asked, "What's going on?" I shrugged and said, "I don't know, I just woke up and realized Cyrena wasn't in bed. She never gets up this early." He rolled his eyes at me  before replying, "Calm down brother, I'm sure she is in the house somewhere." I glared at him before going to the closet to get dressed, and replied, "Just get up and lets go down stairs." He let out a groan but did as I said anyway, after we were dressed we left our room and we decided to check Ruby's room before going downstairs. I quietly pushed open the door in case she was still sleeping, I frowned when I saw she wasn't in bed. "Okay, Ruby is out of bed before 7 am that is weird." Zayne came into the room behind me and said, "You got me on that one, she has never been a morning person." We left Ruby's room and went downstairs, they weren't in the living room so we checked the kitchen next. When we got into the kitchen our beautiful mate and our adorable daughter shouted, "Happy Birthday!" I felt like and i***t, how could I forget that it was our birthday today. Zayne and I went over to Ruby and gave her a hug before we took turns kissing our beautiful mate. Then we went into the dinning room to eat the amazing breakfast that they made for us.

    When we had finished eating Cyrena announced it was time for presents, she told us to stay where we were before she left the room to go get the presents. She came back into the room and handed us each a gift and told us we had to open it together, she went over to stand behind Ruby as we opened our presents at the same time. I looked down at the shirt in the box and read the words printed on the front, I looked over at my brother and he had the same shocked look on his face that I did. We both looked over at our mate and she took off Ruby's apron revealing the shirt she was wearing underneath. Holy s**t, we are going to have a baby! I haven't been this happy since the day we met Cyrena. I couldn't help a big smile from forming, Zayne and I ran over to her and pulled her into a group hug. I placed a kiss on the top of her head and said, "Thank you my love, this is the best present I have ever received." Zayne kissed her neck and said, "You have made this the best birthday ever." When we ended the hug I picked Ruby up and spun her around while saying, "And Ruby is going to be an amazing big sister." Zayne came over and kissed Ruby's cheek and said, "I agree." We tried to help Cyrena clean up the mess from breakfast but she insisted she would do it alone because it was our birthday, so we went up stairs to change into our new shirts. We found Ruby in the living room watching cartoons when we had come back down after changing, so we went to join her while waiting for Cyrena to be done. Not long after Cyrena came into the living room and sat in between my brother and I and snuggled up to  us. I wrapped my arm around her waist as Zayne put his arm over her shoulders.
