Hybrid's Twin Mates

Meeting the Pack

                  (Zayne Pov)

      Today is finally the day Cyrena will be meeting the pack, I know everyone will love her but if for some reason they don't they can go f**k themselves. It will be their loss if they can't see how amazing she is, I just hope everything goes well. We were in the dinning room at Cyrena's having breakfast before going to the pack house. Like always when Cyrena cooks the food was amazing, after we finished eating I said, "So, you ready to meet the pack?" She sighed and replied, "As ready as I'll ever be, I just hope they will like me." Zander came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her and said, "Don't worry baby girl, they will love you and if they don't then its their problem not ours." I nodded my head in agreement and added, "You are our mate, you are the one person we can't live without. The pack will understand that every werewolf knows how important a mate is." She nodded her head with a smile and said, "Okay, lets do this." We left the house, Cyrena locking the door behind us. Then we got into the car and I drove us to the pack house, there was a bit of traffic but we made it to the pack house in half an our. I parked the car and we all got out, Cyrena looked at the house with wide eyes and said, "Damn, this isn't a house its a mansion."

       Zander and I laughed and I said, "It has to be big, there are a lot of families that live here. Plus this is just the main house, there are a few more on the property." My brother and I both held one of her hands as we led her to the front door. Zander opened the door and we went inside, Ryan and Sarah were in the living room with a few other pack members. They stood up when they saw us come in and smiled at us, I smiled back and said, "Cyrena, this is our Alpha Ryan and our Luna Sarah. This is our mate Cyrena." Sarah smiled and said, "It's so nice to meet you Cyrena, when we heard these two found their mate we couldn't wait to meet you." Cyrena smiled and replied, "It's nice to meet you too, I was a bit nervous to be honest." Ryan laughed and said, "There is no reason to be nervous, we might be wolves but we are also just people." Sarah said, "How about we go out to the back yard." We all agreed and followed her out to the back yard, there was a group of pups running around playing in human form. When the kids saw us they ran over to us and asked us to play with them. We agreed and the kids decided they wanted to play tag, we played for awhile then suddenly a loud alarm rang out. It was the rogue alarm, Ryan yelled out, "Rogues, get the children and anyone not able to fight in the safe rooms!" 

             (Cyrena Pov)

    We were in the back yard playing with the kids when a loud alarm rang out, then Ryan yelled to get the kids in the safe rooms. People came out and started to gather the children, Zander and Zayne were helping with the children closer to the house. I was about to run over to where they were when I heard a child crying, I followed the sound to a little girl no older then six on the ground holding her knee. I walked up to the little girl and said, "Hey sweetie, we need to get you inside." She looked up at me with tears in her eyes and said, "I fell down." I heard growling in the distance and said, "Okay pretty girl, its not safe out here right now. Is it okay if I pick you up?" She nodded her head so I quickly picked her up and started to run towards the house, I stopped short when a dirty brown wolf with red eyes popped up in front of us. I turned around and saw another wolf with red eyes a few yards behind us. The girl in my arms started to cry, I turned to the tree next to me and said, "Okay sweetheart, I'm gonna put you in the tree I need you to stay there and not move until I or one of your pack members gets you." She nodded and I quickly helped her climb the tree before turning to the rogues, expecting only two rogues I cursed when I saw they were joined by another one and coming closer growling. I took a deep breath and prepared my self to fight them off, I waited for then to make the first move.

    I didn't have to wait long, the brown wolf charged at me I extended my claws (Perks of being half demon) and waited for him to get close enough. When he was close enough I spun around and grabbed the rogue by the throat digging my claws in, he let out a whine but before he could make a move I tore his throat out and dropped his body to the ground before turning to face the other two rogues. I was a split second too late in turning around and the next thing I know I am tackled to the ground by a rogue. Without giving the wolf time to try to bite me I quickly dug my claws into his eyes blinding him. He let out a loud howl in pain before rolling off me, I put my palm out and used my powers to set the rogue on fire. Two down, one more to go. I looked at the other rogue and it growled at me while circling around me, I used my powers to conjure a sword and swung it around waiting for him to charge. I stayed still and waited, he came charging at me, at the last second I moved out of the way and swung down with my sword decapitating him. I dropped the sword and ran back to the tree and said, "Sweetheart, it's me. It is safe to come down now." She climbed down part way and when she was in arms reach I picked her up and said, "Close your eyes sweetheart, you don't need to see this." She did what I said and I started to run towards the house, when I got closer I could see dead rogues all over the ground. Then I heard Zayne yell, "Where the hell is Cyrena, I can't believe we lost our mate." 

    I yelled out, "I'm over here." My mates and Ryan and Sarah turned to look at me with relief on their faces. My mates ran over to us and Zander tried to take the little girl from my arms but she freaked out and started screaming holding on to me tighter. "It's okay sweetheart, they are my mates. They won't hurt you." She lay her head on my shoulder and said, "Please don't leave me." It nearly broke my heart, I wrapped my arms around her and said, "It's okay sweetheart, I'm right here I'm not leaving." We all went inside, Zayne said, "Lets go in the living room." I sat down with the little girl in my arms and she snuggled against me, my mates sat on each side of me and Ryan and Sarah sat on the other couch. I looked down and saw that the little girl was asleep and I let out a sigh. Zander asked, "Are you okay love, I'm so sorry we lost track of you. We should of protected you better." I frowned and said, "I'm fine, it wasn't your fault. I heard her crying and went to help her when three rogues appeared so i put her in a tree while I dealt with them." Ryan looked at me and said, "So you took on three rogues by yourself? That's impressive." I shrugged and said, "Perks of being a hybrid, I'm a lot faster and stronger than people think." My mates smiled down at me and kissed the top of my head. I looked over at Ryan and Sarah and asked, "By the way do you know who this girl is, her parents are probably worried."

    Sarah gave me a sad smile and said, "Her name is Ruby, her parents died last year she is an orphan pup." My heart broke even more for the little girl, "That's so sad, how come she hasn't been adopted?" Ryan sighed and said, "She sort of withdrew from everything after her parents died, anytime anyone has had interest in possibly adopting her she would shut down and not interact or she would throw a fit." Sarah nodded and added, "She seems to like you though, usually she stays away from contact with others." I looked down at the little girl in my arms and said, "It's probably just because I helped her." Zander said, "I don't know babe, you are very lovable." I let out a little laugh and carefully tried to adjust Ruby on me, she woke up though and clung to me tighter. I rubbed her back and said, "It's okay Ruby, I'm right here. You're okay sweetheart." She looked up at me and smiled sleepily and my heart fluttered, god she was the cutest little girl I have ever seen. I smiled back down at her and continued to rub her back, she closed her eyes and fell back asleep. I looked back up and saw Ryan and Sarah looking at me with a smile, I frowned and said, "What?" Sarah glanced at her mate before turning to look at me and saying, "I know this is sudden but would you be interested in adopting Ruby?"

           (Zander Pov)

   Cyrena looked up at us after Sarah asked her if she would be interested in adopting Ruby, I can tell she like the idea and I loved the idea of having a family with her adopted or not. "It's up to you love, if this is something You want to do then we'll do it. I would love to have a family with biological or not." Zayne nodded his head and added, "Same here love, whatever you want to do." She looked down at the sleeping girl before looking back up at Ryan and Sarah and saying, "Yes, I'm interested in adopting her." They both smiled and we decided we would be staying at the pack house for the night so we could talk to Ruby about adopting her and decide where we would be living. We led Cyrena to our room in the pack house with a sleeping Ruby still in her arms. When we got to our room Cyrena gently placed Ruby on one of the king size beds, yes my brother and I share a room, we are twins and very close. Not in an incest way because that's gross, hence the two king size beds. Ruby thankfully didn't wake up when she placed her on the bed, Cyrena stood up and stretched with a sigh. I came up behind her and wrapped my arms around her while Zayne went in front of her cupped her face and kissed her quickly on the lips. I kissed her neck before pulling back when I heard Ruby stir in bed. She sat up and looked around in a panic before calming down when she saw Cyrena.

  Cyrena walked over to the bed and sat down next to Ruby, "Hi sweetheart, how are you feeling?" Ruby rubbed her eyes with her little fist and said, "I'm okay, where are we?" Cyrena smiled down at her and said, "We are in the pack house, in my mates' room." Ruby nodded then asked, "Um, what's your name?" Cyrena laughed and said, "My name is Cyrena, these are my mates Zayne and Zander you might have seen them around here." Ruby nodded and said, "Are you taking me back to the orphanage?" Cyrena glanced at us before looking back at Ruby and saying, "Well sweetheart, that's up to you." She frowned and asked, "What do you mean?" My brother and I went to sit on the foot of the bed they were on and I said, "Well Ruby we were wondering if you might want Cyrena and my brother and I to adopt you?" ......
