My mind was in a blur. Lydia had just dominated what looked to be an alpha werewolf and saved us. Just when we were finally safe, I see an arrow just before it struck my sister’s side. The sound she made was unlike anything I’ve ever heard. Then another struck her again. I grabbed the small child who was still standing in shock in front of her. She fell to the ground as another struck her.
“Lydia get out of here. Run! Stop shooting! Please.”
I step between the hunter and my sister to give her time to get away. The hunter looks at me puzzled, but then looks over to the children huddled nearby.
“Jeremy! Jeremy are you okay?” She screams dropping her bow and running to the boy.
