I could hear Theo and Jonathon in my head begging for us to turn back, but I couldn’t. I blocked out their mindlinks. Even Parker and Nikki’s. I made sure to stay at a pace I knew they could keep up. If Vincent’s information was true, I didn’t want to take the chance these two would get caught by rogues in the forest. So, since they were close enough to keep an eye on, I blocked out their mindlinks to focus only on the connection with my brother. I wasn’t sure how far we had run at the moment, but I was hoping to be close enough soon to warn him.
