I think Diego’s night was benign enough. He mentioned that Tony was on a roll about a recent breakup, so I took that as a good sign. Although, now that I’m thinking about it, I wonder if the person in question could be Toni with an ‘i’ and female.
The thought makes me seethe a little, so I’m not going to focus on it. I suppose it’s none of my business anyway, but I wish I had the right to know. That should count for something, right? Maybe the fact that I sort of introduced him to my family gives me a little leverage in that department.
I’m not sure why we are still keeping a 24 / 7 vigil over Nixie now that she is awake, but for some unspoken reason we all continue to monitor her, even though her doctor has indicated they are only keeping her for a few more days of observation
