We received some bombshell news today. I’m still not sure what to think of it.
The doctors confirmed today that Nixie is pregnant! What??? I still can’t quite believe it. My head is reeling, and I have far more questions than answers.
Did Nixie know she was pregnant? Would she be happy about the baby? Did she even want a child? She had never mentioned the desire to have a family to me, but she doesn’t normally share the intimate details of her life with me. Besides, she had hinted to our mother that she would soon give them a grandchild. I hadn’t been sure if that was something that Nixie truly wanted, or if she was just trying to live up to her ‘perfect child’ reputation.
